Summary Generated by Built In

Nordic Knots is looking for an experienced VP Ecommerce to lead the continued development of our ecommerce business and customer experience as we grow internationally.

With the US as our largest market and strong momentum across North America and Europe, ecommerce sits at the centre of our business. This is a key role in shaping how customers discover, explore and shop Nordic Knots, and how we bring new products and categories to market.

You will bring clear direction, commercial judgement and deep ecommerce expertise to the next stage of our growth. You will combine strategic leadership with hands-on execution, ensuring that our digital experience reflects the quality and ambition of the brand while delivering strong commercial results.

Key Responsibilities

Ecommerce strategy and development

  • Lead the continued development of Nordic Knots’ ecommerce experience across markets.

  • Set clear priorities for ecommerce, balancing customer experience, brand ambitions and commercial opportunities.

  • Translate business objectives into actionable plans and drive execution in a fast-growing organisation.

  • Work closely with the leadership team to shape how new products, categories and customer experiences are brought to market.

Customer experience and merchandising

  • Lead the development of customer journeys, digital merchandising, site architecture and conversion.

  • Ensure that customers can discover, understand and shop our products through an intuitive and considered digital experience.

  • Develop merchandising and site structure to support an expanding product offering.

  • Identify and prioritise improvements that strengthen both the customer experience and business performance.

Digital product and cross-functional collaboration

  • Guide digital product development, bringing clear priorities and informed judgement to decisions.

  • Work closely with brand, product, growth, operations and technology to deliver a coherent ecommerce experience.

  • Align teams around priorities and ensure that initiatives move from idea to implementation.

  • Bring in the right people and specialist expertise when needed to support execution and growth.

About You

You are an experienced ecommerce leader who has built and scaled ecommerce within a premium consumer brand. You combine strategic thinking with strong execution and are comfortable moving between leadership discussions and the details of the customer experience.

You have a clear point of view on customer journeys, merchandising, site structure and digital commerce, and know how to turn that expertise into practical improvements. You understand how to develop a digital experience that strengthens a premium brand while delivering commercial results.

You thrive in an entrepreneurial environment where priorities evolve and there is still much to build. You move quickly, make thoughtful decisions and take ownership of moving work forward. You collaborate well across disciplines and know when to involve others or bring in additional expertise.

Experience and Skills
  • Senior ecommerce leadership experience within a premium consumer brand.

  • A proven track record of building and scaling ecommerce through periods of rapid growth.

  • Deep expertise in customer journeys, digital merchandising, conversion and digital experience.

  • Strong commercial judgement and customer understanding.

  • Experience working across product, brand, marketing, operations and technology.

  • The ability to set strategic direction and drive hands-on execution in a lean organisation.

  • International experience
