Our portfolio includes targeted streaming services AMC+, Acorn TV, Shudder, Sundance Now, ALLBLK and HIDIVE; cable networks AMC, BBC AMERICA, IFC, Sundance TV and WE tv; and film distribution labels IFC Films and RLJE Films. The company also operates AMC Studios, our in-house studio, production, and distribution operation behind acclaimed and fan-favorite originals including The Walking Dead Universe and the Anne Rice Immortal Universe, and AMC Networks International, our international programming business.

We are currently seeking a VP - Creative, Brand & B2B to join our Marketing Team based in our New York, New York Headquarters.

JOB SUMMARY

The Vice President of Brand Creative is responsible for overseeing and integrating the creative direction of consumer-facing brand creative marketing efforts and strategic B2B initiatives. This individual will ensure that the company's brand vision is cohesively executed across all consumer and b2b channels, driving growth and engagement in both arenas. This role demands a blend of creativity, strategic thinking, business acumen and working closely with cross-functional teams to align marketing strategies with overarching business goals. 

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES 

CONSUMER BRAND CREATIVE:  

  • Develop engaging and breakthrough consumer brand creative campaigns across AMC Networks full portfolio of brands. Work in collaboration with individual brand, mktg, content strategy teams to deliver on a unified strategy across campaigns. 

  • Direct the creative process for SVOD multi-content video campaigns that reinforce SVOD brand identities and deliver a consistent message across all platforms. Collaborate with the creative team to develop and execute campaigns that span various media, including video, digital and social media. 

 

B2B CREATIVE:  

  • Act as the lead in-house creative for the senior executive team, servicing all creative, presentation and live event needs 

  • Develop engaging and brand consistent b2b,marketing assets spanning across the Events, Affiliate Sales, Press and Consumer Marketing. 

  • Conceptualize and drive evocative creative that connects to AMC Networks audiences, business clients, industry partners and content collaborators.  

  • Creative lead on conceptualizing and overseeing all inter-departmental live-event deliverables  

  • Oversee all in-house and b2b marketing assets in support of Ad Sales and The Content Room, Distribution, Press and the Senior Leadership Team.  

  • Creative lead on all affiliate marketing spots/campaigns/industry event design, b2b video assets, Trade Ads, press reels and marketing materials, industry tapes, off-air marketing spots and trade show and conference audio/visual elements. 

  • Creatively oversee and direct all executive and select talent shoots. 

  • Recruit and develop new relationships with external strategic and creative resources that meet the company’s high standards of innovation, production quality to help achieve core business objectives.  

QUALIFICATIONS (Required & Preferred) 

  • Bachelor's degree 

  • 15+ years of relevant work experience 

  • Ability to work well with C-Suiteexecutivesas well as A-listtalent  

  • Proficiency with on-air promotion formats and strategy  

  • Excellent written and communication skills 

  • Strong production and creative management background  

  • Ability to work within a fast-paced creative environment managing multiple projects at one time. 

  • Strong creative managerial, budgeting, planning and contract skills. 

  • Able to define a project and assign the appropriate talent toexecute  

  • Having a roster of talent that can be called upon at a moment’s notice to complete alast-minuteproject with the utmost creative vision andprofessionalism  

  • A deep knowledge of creative production and a high level of communication skills and client- management 

  • The ability to manage a project workflow to achieve solid results and ensure high quality work is delivered on-time, on-budget and on-brand. 

  • A collaborator who can work across multiple functions and internal orgs/teams with strong executive-levelpresence  

The base compensation range for this position is $160,000 to $225,000 commensurate with experience. AMC Networks additionally offers a comprehensive benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, Prescription Drug Coverage, 401k Plan, Wellness Program, Life Insurance, Tuition Reimbursement, Paid Time Off, Paid Parental Leave and Adoption Services, among other benefit plan options, subject to eligibility requirements.
