Storable is seeking a VP, Corporate Marketing to elevate and unify our brand across all verticals and markets — and to establish Storable as the definitive voice on AI in the self-storage industry.

Reporting directly to our CEO, you will be responsible for defining and driving the corporate brand, go-to-market narrative, AI market leadership strategy, PR/communications, and external events strategy for a ~$500M ARR B2B SaaS company. Storable is the undisputed #1 player in self-storage technology — 50% of every self-storage facility in the US uses our system of record, and we are 10x larger than our next closest FMS competitor. We have more data, more customers, more integrations, and more investment in AI than anyone in our space. This role exists to make sure the market knows it.

In this role, you will operate at both strategic and execution levels, partnering closely with the ELT, General Managers, and GTM leaders to ensure Storable shows up as a cohesive, differentiated category leader — particularly as AI reshapes our industry and a growing wave of AI-native startups compete for share of voice. You will lead and grow a multi-disciplinary corporate marketing team and manage external agencies and partners to deliver measurable impact.

You will be a visible leader across the company, building a unified story that connects our multi-product platform, AI product strategy, embedded product marketing teams, and vertical GTM motions into a single, compelling narrative for customers, prospects, partners, and the market.

What you'll do every dayBrand & Go-to-Market Narrative
  • Define and own a unified Storable brand platform (positioning, messaging, visual identity) across all verticals, driving consistent expression of the brand across channels and assets.
  • Develop and roll out an integrated go-to-market narrative and messaging framework that is adopted by Marketing, Sales, Product, and Customer Success, ensuring key external assets are aligned to that narrative.
AI Market Leadership
  • Own and execute Storable's AI market leadership strategy — ensuring that when anyone in the self-storage industry thinks about AI, Storable is the first name that comes to mind.
  • Establish Storable as the definitive thought leader on AI in self-storage through flagship content (e.g., "State of AI in Self-Storage" annual report), CEO-anchored webinar series, industry publication strategy, and a consistent speaking presence at major industry events.
  • Partner closely with Product Marketing to ensure AI is front-and-center in how the market perceives Storable — including a dedicated AI hub on storable.com, AI product success stories with hard ROI metrics, AI-powered product launch campaigns, and competitive battlecards with AI positioning.
  • Drive customer AI enablement content — practical playbooks, persona-specific resources, and education programs that position Storable as the company that doesn't just sell AI, but teaches operators how to use it to transform their business.
  • Amplify Storable's internal AI transformation story — including our enterprise AI platform, AI-powered SDLC, AI Enablement team, and company-wide AI adoption programs — as a market differentiator and talent attractor.
  • Outposition a growing wave of AI-native startups and emerging competitors — many of whom are positioning loudly on AI despite having a fraction of our data, customer base, and product breadth — by leveraging Storable's unmatched data moat, platform scale, and multi-year AI product roadmap in all market-facing narratives.
PR, Communications & Executive Visibility
  • Lead the strategy and execution of corporate PR and communications, including managing PR/AR agencies, to increase Storable's share of voice, media presence, and thought leadership in our categories.
  • Partner closely with the CEO and ELT to shape and execute an executive communications strategy, including thought leadership themes, speaking engagements, ghostwritten content, and social/digital presence amplification.
Events
  • Build and execute an annual external events strategy (industry conferences, customer events, webinars, etc.) that aligns to GTM priorities and delivers clear brand and pipeline outcomes — with AI as a central theme.
Operations & Team Leadership
  • Establish a corporate marketing plan, calendar, and operating rhythm that aligns cross-functional stakeholders (Product Marketing, Demand Gen/Growth Marketing, Sales, CS, GMs) around a small number of high-impact campaigns.
  • Create and maintain a corporate marketing scorecard, including core KPIs for brand, awareness, AI share of voice, PR/Comms, and events.
  • Manage and develop a multi-disciplinary corporate marketing team while also overseeing external agencies, contractors, and vendors to extend capacity and capabilities.
  • Champion the use of modern marketing technologies, including the Salesforce/Marketo ecosystem and AI tools/LLMs, to improve the efficiency, consistency, and impact of corporate marketing programs.
What you need to bring
  • 10+ years of experience leading corporate and/or brand marketing in a B2B SaaS company, ideally at similar scale and complexity.
  • Proven experience building and scaling a unified corporate brand and go-to-market narrative across multiple products, segments, or verticals.
  • Demonstrated experience building category-defining thought leadership around technology or AI — including flagship content, industry research, and executive visibility programs.
  • Track record of outpositioning competitors in a market undergoing technology disruption, with the ability to translate platform scale and data advantages into compelling market narratives.
  • Demonstrated track record owning PR and corporate communications strategy, including managing PR/AR agencies to deliver measurable results.
  • Experience leading high-impact external events strategy and execution that drives brand outcomes and contributes to pipeline.
  • Strong executive presence and a history of partnering closely with CEOs and executive leadership teams to shape and communicate the company narrative.
  • Leadership experience building, managing, and growing multi-disciplinary marketing teams.
Bonus points
  • Experience in multi-vertical or multi-geo B2B SaaS environments.
  • Hands-on familiarity with Salesforce and Marketo (or similar) at scale.
  • Prior success leading brand or corporate marketing for a company at or around ~$500M ARR, or on a similar growth trajectory.
  • Background working with embedded Product Marketing teams across multiple business units or verticals, and aligning them to a shared corporate narrative.
  • Experience marketing to SMB owner-operators or fragmented, traditional industries undergoing digital and AI transformation.
