Description

Tahzoo is a global Customer Experience consultancy serving Fortune 500 clients. We provide integrated solutions to our enterprise clients across digital strategy, content strategy, UX design, data science and marketing technology, to allow them to offer personalization at scale for their customers and employees. The VP, Content Strategy leads and oversees the consulting services to design, implement and optimize Tahzoo’s Intelligent Content Hub at our clients, which efficiently provides the critical content assets and corresponding meta data to power such personalized experiences.

To be successful in this role, we believe you will have strong consulting experience and familiarity with several of the following topics: taxonomy & metadata design, ontology & knowledge graph optimization, semantic AI, structured content (e.g. DITA), content migration & transformation and content lifecycle organization design.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Define content strategy consulting offerings to meet emerging needs in enterprise marketing organizations, including content user research, content operations assessments, information architecture design, implementation of structured authoring standards, system content migration & transformation, content lifecycle organization & process change management, taxonomy & metadata design, ontology & knowledge graph optimization, testing & scaling of AI/algorithmically based content personalization solutions
  • Manage content strategy consulting projects, in coordination with other Tahzoo teams focused on digital strategy, UX design, data science and mar-tech systems, as part of large-scale digital transformation initiatives at Tahzoo clients, and serving a range of client stakeholders including from C-level, creative, editorial and mar-tech systems
  • Grow and manage a team of content strategists and subject matter experts
  • Develop content strategy thought leadership and represent Tahzoo at conferences and in media
  • Serve as a member of Tahzoo’s delivery leadership team
  • Support pre-sales efforts
Requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to define quantified business value, anticipate change management challenges, design and execute roadmaps for content-related digital transformation initiatives in Fortune 500 enterprises, including understanding relative size of opportunities by use case, content asset valuation, information architecture redesign, introduction of structured content authoring, content lifecycle process redesign, optimization of taxonomies & ontologies and utilization knowledge graph AI
  • At least 8 years’ total content-strategy related work experience from consulting (e.g., content strategy, business/strategy consulting, Big-4), academia (e.g., research on content marketing, linguistics, micro-content, NLP, knowledge graphs, semantic AI), government (e.g., content-related data science, NLP, knowledge graphs, cyber), mar-tech platform provider, digital agency, and/or commercial company
  • At least 3 years’ experience leading content-related digital transformation projects at enterprise-level companies as external consulting leader, internal department lead or initiative owner
  • Familiarity with key mar-tech systems supporting content workflows (e.g., content authoring tools, CMS, DAM), structured authoring/micro content methodologies (e.g., DITA), content semantics methodologies (e.g, taxonomy, meta data, knowledge graphs) and content-related AI applications (e.g., semantic search, recommender systems)
  • Proven people management and development skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills across a broad spectrum of cultural differences, in particular with C-level executives
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, Mathematics, Data Science or related field
  • Ability to travel up to 30% under normal circumstances

Salary Range: $120-200k

Compensation will be determined based on your level of experience.
