Job Summary:
The Vice President of Clinical Programs is a senior clinical and operational leader responsible for designing, launching, scaling, and operating clinical programs, with a primary focus on post acute and transitional care.
This role owns the end to end lifecycle of clinical program development, including clinical model design, operational workflows, staffing models, performance measurement, regulatory compliance, and commercialization support. The VP serves as the executive clinical leader for CareLinx clinical programs and is accountable for translating clinical strategy into repeatable, scalable programs that deliver measurable outcomes.
Essential Job Functions:
- Own the vision, strategy, and execution of clinical programs with an emphasis on post acute and transitional care
- Lead end to end program development from concept through launch and scale
- Define clinical scope, care pathways, escalation models, and staffing approaches
- Serve as the clinical authority on post acute care delivery and transitions of care
- Design programs that reduce readmissions, emergency department utilization, and post discharge complications
- Define and own KPIs, SLAs, and performance guarantees tied to outcomes and utilization
- Partner with Business Intelligence to quantify program impact using claims and clinical data
- Serve as clinical SME in sales, RFPs, and client presentations
- Ensure regulatory compliance across all clinical programs
- Collaborate cross functionally with Product, Operations, Sales, Legal, Finance, and HR
Qualifications:
- Clinical degree required (RN, NP, or equivalent)
- Master’s degree required
- 10+ years of healthcare experience spanning clinical operations and program development
- Minimum 3 years of post acute or transitional care experience
- Experience with value based or shared risk payment models
- Experience launching or scaling digital enabled clinical programs
- Training or experience in quality improvement and patient safety methodologies
