At CDW, our purpose is to make technology work so people can do great things.
The Role

Description
Bring your IT career and talents to CDW, where you can have a greater impact, be inspired by our mission and excited about your career and future. A Fortune 200 leader, we're the driven professionals and technology experts companies turn to most to solve their IT challenges.
* CDW - Vice President, HR Business Partner
* Company: CDW
* Revenue: $21 Billion
* Market Cap: $24 Billion
* At CDW, our purpose is to
* make technology work so people can do great things
* . We were founded in 1984 as an upstart reseller of computers and networking equipment to small businesses. Over the years, we have grown into a powerhouse leader of integrated technology solutions, offering the full stack of technology solutions and services across the entire IT lifecycle, to corporate, small business, government, education, and healthcare customers. We exited 2021 with $20.8B in net sales, which represented a compound annual growth rate of 8% over the last 10 years. We entered the Fortune 500 list in 2001 at No. 435 and have risen to No. 166 in 2022 through sustained and profitable growth. While we have grown organically, we have also accelerated our growth and capabilities at key points in our history through strategic acquisitions, the most recent one being Sirius Computer Solutions which we acquired in December 2021 for $2.5B. Our role within the Technology ecosystem (a.k.a. why we exist) We play an essential role in the IT supply chain by solving the problem of access for both the producers of products and services ("OEMs") and target end users ("customers"). For OEMs, we provide economical and efficient access to customers, acting as an extension of their own go-to-market capabilities by serving these customers through our reach, expertise, and skill. For customers, we provide easy and efficient access to an increasingly complex technology ecosystem of product types and brands, as well as the ability to purchase, deploy, and manage their technology environments. Our market is large and growing, with an estimated IT market spend of $1.2T in the US, UK, and Canada. Our current addressable market of $400B is fragmented across thousands of value- added resellers. CDW, plus the next three largest publicly traded IT solutions companies represent less than 10% of CDW's US addressable market. We have consistently gained share by outgrowing the US IT market growth by 200-300 bps. Our differentiation from our competition is our scale, ethos of service, track record of performance, and brand trust. We are known for always going the extra mile, and never letting the customer down: we are the "go-to" IT channel partner when the situation is "mission critical". Our Strategy In 2020, we launched our strategic plan called Mission Forward, whose pillars were shaped by the future needs of both customers and OEMs of our channel. The key forces shaping our strategic initiatives include:
* OEMs increasingly shifting their portfolios to software-defined and/or cloud-enabled as-a- Service offerings and looking to us to have the fluency and capability to sell, deploy and manage these shifts.
* Customers simultaneously accelerating their adoption of modern digital architectures and technologies which leads them to want access to a full portfolio of services (professional and managed) to support their migration journeys.
* Customers wanting digital "B2C" like experiences that complement the traditional human- based "B2B" experience. The first two priorities of Mission Forward address these shifts, by accelerating our focus in providing strategic services and solutions and driving the best omnichannel experience in our industry across both human and digital channels. The third priority relates to our own investments to sustainably scale and reimagine our functional areas and processes to meet the aspirations of our Mission Forward strategy. These investments span talent, technology platforms, automation, data, and analytics. Our Values The CDW Way sets forth the shared values that guide behavior at CDW - customers at the center, coworkers at our sides. CDW runs its business with passion, and integrity, and as a result has long enjoyed the trust and confidence of its stakeholders - coworkers, customers, vendor partners, and shareholders. With approximately two-thirds of CDW's coworkers in customer-facing roles, our culture is largely sales-driven and commercially-focused. Our environment is fast paced and fun, we embrace change, and infused with a fierce drive to win. We are a diverse group of thinkers who feel privileged to serve as leaders for this fast-growing company in an exciting space, since technology will play a key role in building the future of every industry.
