Position Summary

The VP of Principal Development is responsible for leading and strengthening executive-level relationships with key principals across all Azelis divisions and geographies. This role serves as the primary strategic liaison between Azelis and assigned principals, driving long-term growth opportunities, identifying expansion opportunities into new markets, countries, and business divisions, and maximizing the overall value of the partnership across the full Azelis network.

The role focuses on high-level business strategy, executive stakeholder engagement, and cross-divisional collaboration, while maintaining visibility into business performance and growth opportunities across all verticals.

Key Responsibilities

Principal Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary strategic contact for assigned principals across all Azelis divisions and countries.
  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships with principal leadership teams and senior stakeholders.
  • Represent the full value proposition of Azelis, promoting opportunities across business units, regions, and markets.
  • Partner with the Managing Director CASE and business leadership to align strategic priorities and mutual growth objectives.

Strategic Business Development

  • Identify and pursue opportunities to expand principal mandates into new divisions, geographies, and market segments.
  • Lead strategic discussions regarding portfolio expansion, market penetration, and long-term growth initiatives.
  • Evaluate and recommend opportunities that maximize revenue growth and strengthen principal partnerships.
  • Support development and execution of long-range business plans with key principals.

Cross-Divisional Leadership

  • Act as the primary liaison between principals and Azelis business leaders operating across multiple divisions.
  • Facilitate collaboration among country, division, and vertical leaders to align strategic initiatives.
  • Ensure principals have visibility into Azelis capabilities and resources across the organization.

Executive Stakeholder Engagement

  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with senior leadership, including Vice Presidents, Managing Directors, and cross-functional business leaders.
  • Participate in executive business reviews and strategic planning sessions with principal leadership teams.
  • Provide strategic direction and guidance regarding principal growth priorities and partnership objectives.

Performance Oversight

  • Maintain awareness of sales performance, pipeline activity, forecasting trends, and growth initiatives across all relevant divisions.
  • Review high-level business results and strategic performance metrics provided by divisional leadership teams.
  • Monitor overall partnership health and identify risks and opportunities impacting long-term success.

Strategic Planning

  • Support the development of annual strategic objectives and growth plans for principal partnerships.
  • Maintain ongoing visibility into divisional and regional business plans to ensure alignment with principal priorities.
  • Provide leadership recommendations regarding investment, expansion, and partnership strategy.

Scope of Responsibility

Level of Involvement

  • High-level strategic oversight rather than day-to-day operational management.
  • Limited involvement in routine CASE operational activities, supply chain issues, allocation decisions, forecasting, and technical project execution.
  • Maintains visibility into business performance through divisional leadership and CASE Principal Development teams.
