POSITION SUMMARY

The Vice President, Account Management is responsible for overseeing and providing strategic direction to the Account Management team. The VP, Account Management ensures the achievement of revenue retention and revenue growth goals. This person is responsible for driving the overall strategy of the Account Management team. The VP, Account Management will directly manage and disseminate goals and KPIs to the Director, Account Management. The overarching goal of this role is to drive client revenue while developing world class Account Managers and to cultivate clients that will tell their friends, colleagues, and business networks about FitOn Health because of the experience provided.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drive retention and identify growth opportunities by developing strategies, tracking progress, and pivoting as needed to drive successful business outcomes. 
  • Collaborate with the internal Leadership team and Sales Teams to develop a holistic approach to Account Management. 
  • Own the strategic plan for renewals along with driving or supporting pricing and contract negotiation. 
  • Take ownership of a limited number of key accounts and relationships to ensure a thorough understanding of our processes
  • Where appropriate, develop action plans that meet the client’s engagement goals, and guide the team on doing this for their clients
  • Work with the Director, Account Management to develop their skill set along with the team and individual KPIs and goals
  • Oversee client issue escalation process and collaborate with key internal stakeholders, elevating the high level issues through organization for complete resolution.
  • Create and maintain a positive, collaborative and motivated environment for the Account Management Team
  • Liaise with other departments heads to ensure transparency across the organization
  • Implement necessary automations and technologies to increase the effectiveness of the account management team
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND OTHER QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Sales or relevant field or equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
  • 10+ years experience in a Account Management leadership role (experience in B2B SaaS Healthcare, Medicare, fitness, or wellness space preferred)
  • Hands on experience as a strategic leader of an entire Account Management department 
  • Experience with Medicare Advantage plans a huge plus
  • Thorough understanding of large client/partnership implementation processes
  • Demonstrated ability to drive revenue and proven track record of exceeding annual revenue goals
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization
  • Must have an analytical and process oriented mindset
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and management experience
  • Previous experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce, ZenDesk Sell or HubSpot) 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail

At FitOn Health, We are committed to fair, equitable, and competitive compensation. The salary for this position is $140,000-$180,000. During the interview process, total compensation will be determined in alignment with market data, and the experience & capabilities of each candidate.
