About the Role
The Regional Vice President, Strategic Accounts is a senior commercial leader responsible for driving regional growth through key partnerships, with a primary focus on strengthening and expanding the strategic alliance with Bancolombia and its ecosystem (including Nequi, Wenia, and Wompi). Based in Colombia, this role partners closely with the client to identify and scale opportunities across markets, unlocking new revenue streams and supporting their regional ambitions.
Acting as a trusted advisor, the VP ensures strong alignment between Cibest Group's capabilities and Bancolombia Group's growth strategy, while orchestrating seamless execution across countries and affiliated companies.
Roles and Responsibilities
Strategic Growth & Alliance Leadership
- Define and execute the regional growth strategy for Bancolombia Group, driving revenue expansion and long-term value creation.
- Identify and scale cross-market opportunities across Bancolombia and its ecosystem (Nequi, Wenia, Wompi).
-Own and deliver on revenue targets tied to the strategic alliance.
Executive Partnership & Ecosystem Engagement
- Build and maintain senior relationships with key stakeholders across Bancolombia and its affiliated companies.
- Act as a trusted advisor, shaping initiatives that support digital growth, innovation, and regional expansion.
- Lead complex, multi-entity negotiations ensuring alignment across the group.
Account Governance & Liaison Leadership
- Serve as the primary liaison across account managers supporting different entities within the Bancolombia Group (e.g., Nequi, Wenia, Wompi).
- Ensure alignment, consistency, and coordination of account strategies, priorities, and client engagement across all touchpoints.
- Establish clear governance and communication frameworks to drive a unified, enterprise-wide approach to the client.
Cross-Functional Execution
- Lead coordination across Sales, Product, and Delivery teams to execute regional initiatives.
- Ensure consistent, high-quality delivery and scalability across markets and entities.
- Drive internal alignment, prioritization, and accountability for strategic initiatives.

- Proven experience managing complex, multi-entity strategic accounts and driving regional growth.
- Strong track record of building executive relationships across large organizations or ecosystems.
- Ability to orchestrate multiple stakeholders, acting as a unifying leader across account teams.
- Deep understanding of financial services, fintech, or digital ecosystems in Latin America.
- Strong strategic, commercial, and negotiation skills.
- Fluency in Spanish and English.
