The Role: Voice AI Engineer
We are looking for a Voice AI Engineer to build and optimize voice-driven AI systems that streamline communication in logistics. You'll play a key role in developing speech recognition, natural language understanding, and conversational AI models to automate interactions between drivers, dispatchers, and customers. This role is ideal for engineers passionate about AI-driven voice solutions and their real-world impact on operations.
What You'll Be Working On
- Design and implement voice AI models for speech recognition, natural language understanding, and text-to-speech applications.
- Integrate voice AI solutions into our logistics platform, enhancing driver-dispatcher communication and customer interactions.
- Optimize voice processing models for accuracy, latency, and efficiency in noisy environments.
- Work closely with product teams to develop end-to-end voice-enabled experiences.
- Continuously improve speech-to-text accuracy by fine-tuning models and expanding training datasets.
- Implement real-time voice processing and conversational AI workflows.
- Stay up to date on advancements in LLMs, ASR, and TTS to bring cutting-edge voice capabilities into our platform.
What You Bring
- 3+ years of experience in voice AI, speech processing, or conversational AI.
- Strong knowledge of ASR (Automatic Speech Recognition), NLP (Natural Language Processing), and TTS (Text-to-Speech).
- Hands-on experience with real-time speech processing, noise filtering, and model fine-tuning.
- Familiarity with cloud-based speech APIs (e.g., AWS Transcribe, Google Speech-to-Text, OpenAI Whisper).
- Experience integrating voice AI into production systems and optimizing performance.
- Bonus: Experience with frameworks like Kaldi, DeepSpeech, Vosk, Whisper, or SpeechBrain a major plus.
- Bonus: Background in telephony systems (SIP, WebRTC), audio signal processing, or voice UX design.
