Job Description
Visa Consulting and Analytics (VCA) is the consulting arm of Visa, and drives tangible, impactful and financial results for Visa’s network clients, including both financial services and merchants. Drawing on our expertise in strategy consulting, data analytics, brand management, marketing, operational and macroeconomics, VCA solves the most strategic problems for our clients.
VCA Managed Services (VMS) is an augmentation of Visa’s consultancy offering, supporting the execution and implementation of recommendations to help scale competitive advantage and operate to succeed in the digital age.
We are looking for a VMS Consulting Analyst with experience in project management and a background in payments or financial services to form an integral part of our VMS team, supporting multiple payments work streams within key Visa clients in Germany, Switzerland, Austria and the Netherlands. We are passionate about providing an outstanding client experience, delivering Visa products and service offerings that improve efficiency and drive value for everyone! What is expected of you, day to day:
Working closely with both client and Visa personnel, the VMS Consulting Analyst will support ensuring the delivered project outcomes are aligned against both the clients and Visa’s objectives across all aspects of delivery. This will include:
- Client Engagement: Support the delivery of client engagements in the cards and payments space
- Project Coordination: Work with key business collaborators and assist in project management activities including tracking deliverables, meeting deadlines and ensuring quality standards
- Research & Analysis: Produce insights, analyses and recommendations to improve client performance, boost growth, drive understanding of client issues and provide strategic direction towards client priorities across verticals and segments
- Report & Presentation Development: Prepare high quality reports and presentations on various topics
- Teamplay & Collaboration: Liaises with Visa team members and parties where appropriate to boost teamwork and knowledge sharing
- Thought Leadership - Contribute to Thought Leadership content, including whitepapers, presentations or webinars to enhance the team’s presence and visibility
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

What we’re after…
- Experience in Project Management
- Knowledge and experience of the payments business and/or cards business
- Curiosity about problem solving and sharing best practices, methods, tools and templates
- Ability to develop innovative approaches to complicated business problems
- Ability to utilise data to solve business problems through strong Business & Data Analysis Skills (research and analyse market and client information to tell a story) and proficiency in some innovative analytic and business intelligence tools
- Ability to collaborate closely with multiple partners at various levels within the business
- Self-motivated, results oriented individual with the ability to handle numerous tasks concurrently
- High levels of integrity and business ethics
- Educated to degree level or equivalent experience
