HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT


As the VM Manager for the UAE market, you will be responsible for ensuring a consistent representation of the Cartier brand image through retail and wholesale network while enhancing product visibility and maximising offer performance across the entire network.


As such, you will be responsible for adapting the global and regional strategy to local reality and execute the Maison’s merchandising strategy for each product category.


Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will be responsible for the following:

 

Strategy & performance

  • Enhance product visibility and maximise offer performance across the entire network.
  • Define and implement the Visual Merchandising strategy in collaboration with product marketing, business planning and commercial teams in order to support product launches, in range product performance, elevation of center of gravity, and cross selling.
  • Assess the specific characteristic and clientele of each boutique to design VM customized plans & initiatives, ensuring an enhanced client experience and business performance.
  • Analyse the performance of product categories and collections by boutique to adapt VM strategy & action plan on microzoning, visible display/assortment, windows and hot spot.


Network animation

  • Implement international concept of exterior windows and internal showcases for boutiques, pop up and watch specialists, ensuring relevancy to local calendars, including key product launches and specific animations.
  • Develop specific decors and bespoke windows for significant local events and celebrations (e.g., High Jewellery, Ramadan, Diwali …) in collaboration with regional and international VM teams.

 

 

VM community animation

  • Deliver leadership and training programs to enhance the skills of the boutique VM community.
  • Lead the VM community, providing functional guidance and support.
  • Develop comprehensive guidelines for retail teams, empowering them to take ownership of VM within their boutiques.


Budget & reporting

  • Manage and oversee the Visual Merchandising budget, ensuring efficient allocation of spendings, optimizing performance and ensuring a sustainable approach.
  • Collaborate with finance and other relevant departments to ensure accuracy in budget management, prepare and monitor budget forecasts, tracking expenses against projections to ensure financial targets are met.

 

HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US

  • Minimum 6  to 8  years of experience in Visual Merchandising, preferably in a retail or selective distribution
  • A strong understanding of luxury industry/environments translating in visual excellence for the brand at the POS
  • Clear understanding of retail and distribution channels
  • Very good computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Photoshop, Autocad are a plus)
  • Analytical skills
  • Proactive, hands on, dynamic, detail oriented
  • Organised, with excellent follow-up skills
  • Creativity
  • Strong people & communication skills
  • Fluency in English speaking, Arabic and French is a plus.
