2020 Companies has an immediate full-time VD Parts Demand Planner representing our client, Samsung Electronics America.
The VD Parts Demand Planner is responsible for managing and optimizing the demand planning process for VD (Visual Display) parts within the GPCA. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate demand forecasting, inventory management, and timely delivery of components to meet production and customer requirements.
Pay: $35.00 + per hour based on experience
Location: On-site in Englewood Cliffs, NJ office
Preferred: Fluent in Korean, both written and verbal
Work Authorization:
Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States full-time without current or future visa sponsorship.

Job Description:
Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts for VD parts based on historical data, market trends, and customer requirements
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align demand plans with business objectives
Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability while minimizing excess and obsolescence
Implement inventory strategies to balance supply and demand, reducing lead times and improving service levels
Work closely with suppliers, logistics teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless supply chain operations
Identify and mitigate potential supply chain risks, including material shortages and delivery delays
Analyze demand and supply data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement
Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key metrics and actionable insights
Continuously evaluate and optimize demand planning processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy
Implement best practices and tools to streamline workflows and improve decision-making
Ensure timely communication with internal and external stakeholders regarding demand plans, inventory status, and potential disruptions
Provide support to resolve customer inquiries related to part availability and delivery schedules
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
1-3 years of experience in demand planning, inventory management, or supply chain operations preferred within the electronics or manufacturing industry
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, ERP systems)
Experience with advanced forecasting tools and techniques (e.g., statistical modeling, machine learning)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Bilingual - Korean is required
