About the team
The Creative Studio for Devices supports First-Party TV, RTV OEM, Smart Home, Players & Remotes and creates the following types of work: Campaigns, copy, displays & shippers, email, etail & paid media, merchandising, packaging, video, and web. This role is on the Creative Studio team, but will focus on creative from the Roku Device Marketing Organization (DMO).
About the role
This role will work on all email marketing designs for Smart Home subscriptions, all Roku products and promotions, as well as handle other digital needs from time to time. The senior designer will work with our marketing team and writing team to produce stunning designs that uphold the Roku brand to drive optimal email engagements. This person should be passionate about marketing design and craves working with other smart people to solve the toughest design challenges. This person should have a proactive approach to problem solving and asset production delivery.
What you'll be doing
- Apply brand identity systems, typography, photography, color, and other ingredients appropriately to create innovative visual solutions that meet business and user needs
- Produce production-ready design assets
- Partner and collaborate with Marketing Managers, email developers, and creative team to drive next level ideations
- Be self-motivated with a positive attitude and have strong communications skills
- Be an over communicator and champion of process
- Juggle multiple projects while ensuring the quality of the creative deliverables
- Be deadline driven
We're excited if you have
- 5+ yrs. of work-related experience
- Portfolio demonstrates relevant design experience with a focus in email design
- Well-versed in Figma and Adobe creative suite
- Must have working knowledge of HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript
- Strong production skills—efficient at creating production-ready artwork and assets
- Solid visual design foundation (typography, layout, etc.)
- Ability to think, respond and design quickly with a keen eye for details on multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience working in advertising, media, and/or entertainment is a plus
- Problem solver who is comfortable with ambiguity
- Self-motivated individual who takes ownership
- Positive attitude and results oriented
- Hands on and team oriented
