About the role

The Visual Communications Lead at Concept Plus is responsible for owning, shaping, and executing the company’s visual identity across proposals, branding, social media, digital platforms, and industry events. Reporting to the Vice President of Proposals, this role ensures that Concept Plus presents a consistent, credible, and compelling visual story, from competitive proposals and capture materials to social media presence and trade show environments. The role blends strategic brand leadership with fast-paced execution, supporting both long-term brand growth and quick-turn proposal demands.

What you'll do

• This role operates as a shared visual leadership function, embedded closely with Proposal Operations while supporting enterprise-wide branding and visibility.
• • Enables proposal teams with evaluator-focused visuals and reusable assets
  • Ensures brand consistency across proposals, social media, and marketing channels
  • Strengthens Concept Plus’ market presence through clear, modern visual storytelling
• Enterprise Brand & Visual Strategy
• • Own and evolve Concept Plus’ visual identity, brand standards, and design systems
  • Ensure consistent branding across proposals, social media, presentations, digital assets, and events
  • Translate company strategy, mission, and differentiators into visual narratives
  • Develop and maintain brand guidelines, templates, and visual toolkits
• Proposal & Capture Enablement
• • Support proposal and capture teams with quick-turn, high-impact visuals
  • Design proposal graphics that reinforce win themes, value propositions, and evaluation criteria
  • Create reusable proposal templates and visual libraries to improve speed and consistency
  • Collaborate closely with the VP of Proposals, proposal managers, and writers throughout the pursuit lifecycle
• Social Media & Digital Presence
• • Lead the visual direction of Concept Plus’ social media presence, with emphasis on LinkedIn and professional platforms
  • Develop branded visuals for thought leadership, company announcements, wins, and campaigns
  • Partner with marketing and leadership to align visuals with editorial calendars and growth objectives
• AI-Enabled Visual Acceleration
• • Apply AI-assisted tools to accelerate design, layout, and visual ideation
  • Support responsible AI usage that enhances efficiency while preserving brand integrity and human-centered storytelling
  • Continuously evaluate new tools and workflows that support proposal speed and brand consistency
• Trade Shows & Industry Events
• • Lead visual design and asset preparation for trade shows, conferences, and customer engagements
  • Design or oversee booth graphics, signage, banners, and event collateral
  • Ensure event visuals align with established brand standards

Required Qualifications

• US Citizen
• Bachelor’s degree in Visual Communications, Graphic Design, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent experience
•  5+ years of experience in visual communications, branding, or creative leadership
• Demonstrated experience supporting proposal-driven environments while maintaining enterprise brand standards
• Working familiarity with AI-assisted creative tools
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or similar platforms

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in GovCon, professional services, or technology-focused organizations
• Familiarity with proposal cycles, capture processes, and deadline-driven pursuits
• Experience supporting B2B social media branding
• Trade show and event branding experience
