Visitor Control Specialist

Hatalom Corporation is seeking a Visitor Control Specialist to support Marine Corps University (MCU) and Education Command (EDCOM). This position is responsible for managing visitor access to a SECRET-accredited facility while ensuring compliance with Department of Defense, Department of the Navy, and U.S. Marine Corps security regulations.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Control visitor access by verifying security clearances, visit authorizations, and need-to-know.
- Process and validate visit requests using DISS and other approved security systems.
- Issue, collect, and maintain accountability of visitor badges and access records.
- Maintain daily visitor logs and prepare required security reports.
- Enforce facility access control procedures and report security incidents or suspicious activity.
- Coordinate with the Security Manager and Special Security Representative (SSR) on visitor control procedures.
- Escort uncleared visitors within restricted areas as required.
- Review visitor control procedures and recommend process improvements to enhance security and efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in visitor control, physical security, access control, or security administration.
- Familiarity with DoD security procedures and visitor processing systems, including DISS.
- Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
- Active Secret (Tier 3) Security Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting a DoD or Marine Corps secure facility.
- Knowledge of DoD, DON, and USMC security regulations.
- Experience working in a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) or SECRET-accredited environment.
