Visiting Professor

NTU’s College of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences (CoHASS) includes four Schools: Humanities; Social Sciences; Art, Design and Media; and the Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information, in addition to the Nanyang Centre for Public Administration. Disciplines include economics, psychology, sociology, politics and global affairs, communication, information and media studies, history, linguistics, philosophy, art history, literary studies, and art, design and media. 

We are seeking a distinguished Scholar to join us as a Visiting Professor in Geography, focusing on the relationships between immigrant transnationalism and the state. The successful candidate is expected to contribute to research collaborations and teaching excellence.

Requirements:

• The successful applicant will collaborate with faculty members in research

and to deliver a public seminar.

• Appointee will teach an Undergraduate course and to explore joint PhD student supervision.

Qualifications:

• The candidate must hold a relevant PhD in Sociology, Geography or Political Science.
• The candidate should have a strong publication/research track record.
