The Opportunity
This position is based in Nicaragua for our Nutrition Division. Our nutrition business develops science-based nutrition products for people of all ages, from helping babies and children grow, to keeping adult bodies strong and active. Millions of people around the world count on our leading brands – including Similac®, PediaSure®, Pedialyte®, Ensure®, Glucerna® – to help get the nutrients they need to live their healthiest life.
As the Nutritional Sales Representative you will visit Health Care Professionals (HCP), pharmacies, and other related institutions to promote, assess and increase Abbott product sales.
What You’ll Do

Periodic visits to Healthcare Professionals (HCPs), pharmacies, and other relates institutions, as assigned, to promote Abbott products.

Daily, weekly and monthly reports regarding the visits done, following the established protocol by Abbott.

Manage the medical samples following Abbott’s guidelines.

During the visits, check the products’ inventories, expiration dates, PEP management, etc. these are subject to audit processes.

Inform supervisors about the competition’s strategies, sales tactics and promotional actions.

Active participation in coaching activities provided by the company.

Collaborate with the team members in the development of activities and events such as congress, conferences, etc. that promote and make Abbott products known.

Management of SEC tool to document the daily activities. Inform, within the first 24 hours, the Pharmacovigilance Management, any matter or complaints that compromise any of Abbott’s products.

Follow the Effective Negotiation Practice Policies and maintain an ethical behavior during the visits.

Responsible for the care and return of the company’s material (patrimony) when it is used in any other activity.
Required Qualifications
-
University degree as Healthcare Professional, Physician, Pharmacist or Nutritionist.

Minimum 3 of experience as a medical representative required.
-
Excellent sales techniques.
-
Broad scientific knowledge.
-
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, power point, etc.)

Driver license is required.
