Job Summary
Synechron is seeking a highly skilled VisionPLUS Tester with strong expertise in the CMS module to join our quality assurance team. The primary focus of this role is to validate, verify, and ensure the integrity, performance, and reliability of VisionPLUS applications through end-to-end testing, automation, and API validation. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting enterprise-scale financial services operations by delivering high-quality testing for mission-critical systems, ultimately driving compliance, stability, and customer satisfaction.
Software Requirements
Required:
VisionPLUS (5–8 years of hands-on experience, with a focus on CMS module testing)
API testing tools such as Postman, Rest Assured
Test automation frameworks (Selenium, UFT, or similar)
SQL for data validation and query
Defect tracking systems (JIRA, HP ALM, or equivalents)
Testing methodologies and full SDLC/STLC process knowledge
Preferred:
Exposure to CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.)
Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
Scripting/programming knowledge for advanced automation
Experience in the banking or financial services domain
Overall Responsibilities
Lead, plan, and execute end-to-end functional, integration, and regression testing of VisionPLUS applications, focusing on the CMS module
Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive test cases and automation scripts aligned with business and technical requirements
Conduct API testing using industry-standard tools to ensure seamless system integration
Collaborate closely with development, business analysis, and operations teams to clarify requirements, test coverage, and quality objectives
Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring prompt resolution and retesting
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for testing processes, automation coverage, and reporting quality
Prepare and present dashboards, test summary reports, and quality metrics to stakeholders
Ensure compliance with organizational and industry standards for testing and data security

Day-to-Day Activities
Review business and technical requirements and translate into test strategy and test cases
Develop, maintain, and execute manual and automated regression, integration, and functional tests
Perform API testing of core interfaces using Postman, Rest Assured, or similar
Conduct defect triage, analysis, and coordination with development teams for issue remediation
Participate in requirement grooming, sprint planning, and review meetings
Produce test reports, dashboards, and metrics for various stakeholders
Stay up-to-date with VisionPLUS module enhancements and tools supporting automation and test efficiency
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline (or equivalent alternative experience)
Certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) preferred
Ongoing professional development in automation, financial systems, and QA best practices desired
