Visa Consulting and Analytics (VCA) is the consulting arm of Visa, and drives tangible, impactful and financial results for Visa’s network clients, including both financial services and merchants. Drawing on our expertise in strategy consulting, data analytics, brand management, marketing, operational and macroeconomics, VCA solves the most strategic problems for our clients.
VCA Implementation Services (VIS) is an augmentation of Visa’s consultancy offering, supporting the execution and implementation of recommendations to help scale competitive advantage and operate to succeed in the digital age.
We are looking for a VIS Consulting Manager to join the VIS Team in Istanbul. The VIS Hub team is responsible for supporting and driving the successful execution for all Operational, Delivery, People and Go-To-Market initiatives for VIS South East Europe.
As the VIS Consulting Manager, you will manage and/or supports the delivery of consulting assignments in the cards and payments business prioritized by the Client, ensuring the project achieves the required outcomes to a defined deadline. Actively participate and supports the Client in ad hoc and business as usual activities under the guidance and direction of the client. Serve as a day-to-day Client contact, regularly liaising with clients throughout the assignment lifecycle. Produce insights, analyses and recommendations to improve Client performance, boost growth, drive understanding of client issues and provide strategic guidance for Client priorities across the verticals and segments.
The key deliverables / responsibilities for the role include:
- Establishing the financial reconciliation infrastructure for each digital wallet product feature such as card payment, utility payment, money transfer, loyalty payments.
- Establishing the reporting mechanism for regulators on daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly basis.
- Outlining operational process flows for decision points within and accross all business units.
- Conducting detailed opportunity deep-dives to identify growth potential, competitive advantages, and partnership prospects, followed by clear go-to-market execution plans to ensure effective strategy implementation and measurable business impact.
- Understand clients' business objectives, needs, and plans.
- Identify opportunities for improvements in ways of working.
- Provide thought leadership and projects regarding the future of payment and retail banking as needed.
- Coordinate with Visa Hub teams to provide support, additional information, and best practices.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
QualificationsQualifications:
- Strong understanding of card/payments products.
- Experience in transformation and business readiness.
- Ability to manage and support project team members (Visa and client).
- Strong stakeholder and client engagement skills, including at senior executive levels.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, including experience engaging senior executives and cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to think strategically, remove barriers, and provide actionable solutions.
- Exceptional communication skills — articulate, audience-aware, and able to simplify complex information.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity, reprioritising quickly, and maintaining high standards in fast-moving environments.
- Experience defining success metrics, tracking ROI, and applying data-driven insights to guide decision-making.
- Commitment to continuous improvement, learning, and professional development.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Fluent in English and Turkish (verbal and written).
