We are seeking a skilled and experienced Virtual Architect to join our team. The Virtual Architect will be responsible for collaborating with other professionals to determine functional and non-functional requirements for new software or applications. They will also use tools and methodologies to create representations for functions and user interface of program products. This position includes up to 25% travel in and around the Maryland, Virginia, and DC area.
Responsibilities:

Design, validate, and implement scalable system infrastructure such as servers and databases

Evaluate and analyze complex systems architecture for performance and efficiency improvements

Define coding and technological architectural standards

Develop and document company's hardware and network infrastructure setups. May code and write scripts to automate tasks
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field or applicable work experience
- Secret security clearance
- Eight years of experience as a Virtual Architect, preferably in the government sector
- Proven experience as a virtual architect
- Hands on experience with software development and system administration
- Familiarity with various operating systems and databases
- Experience in cloud technologies
Desired Certifications:
- AWS Certified Solution Architect
- Google Cloud Architect
- Open Group Certified Architect
- Professional Cloud Solutions Architect.
- ITIL V3 Master Certification
