Job DescriptionIDS is seeking a Virtual Training Specialist to support virtual training requirements and mission-focused training events. The selected candidate will provide instruction and training support utilizing virtual simulation systems and military training methodologies in support of operational training objectives.
Key Duties• Support virtual training activities and events.
• Provide instruction using virtual simulation systems.
• Support training development and execution requirements.
• Apply military training experience to support mission objectives.
• Support military training exercises and scenario-based learning activities.
Requirements• Secret clearance.
• Associate degree. Two years’ experience as a Special Operations Forces or closely related military training/assignment may substitute for academic degree.
• Military Instructor Training Course or civilian equivalent required.
• Military Combat Arms background.
Preferred Qualifications• Instructor experience using virtual simulations.
• Knowledge of emergency close air support procedures.
• Knowledge of artillery and mortar call for fire procedures.
