TSC, a Division of Flynn Group of Companies is seeking New Graduates for their Virtual Design Specialist position. The successful individual will inspect, scan, and design components, while working closely with architects, engineering firms, general contractors and builders using the most advanced 3D Inspection Technology.

A Day in the Life
·         Designing building components (Architectural panels, Glass and Glazing components) using as-built point cloud data
·         Creating reports comparing the as-built conditions to nominal conditions
·         Manage the collection of on-site data using conventional survey methods combined with 3D Scanning Technologies
·         Documenting the as-built conditions of large construction sites
·         Use various measuring equipment (Trackers, Scanners, Multi-Stations) effectively after being trained
·         Ensure jobs meet the quality control process
·         Demonstrate understanding of engineering needs onsite and knowledge of project documents
 
What You Bring
·         New Graduates with Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Building Sciences
·         Previous experience with 3D scanning technology, applications, and industry processes is considered an asset
·         Excellent technical computer skills – AutoCAD, Rhino is an asset
·         Solid knowledge of mechanical, math, and measurements skills
·         Must be motivated to take initiative, respond to issues, constraints, and opportunities
·         Detail-orientation without losing sight of the big picture
