ONSITE POSITION - NYC
Seeking an IT professional who will be responsible for administering the virtual infrastructure. The projects will include server and storage virtualization, high availability, business continuity, disaster recovery and security.
Key responsibility will be supporting a migration from VMWare. New environment is going to Nutanix using Containers (Kubernetes).
Preference will be given to candidates who have experience migrating off VMWARE and skills in most of the following:
- Strong Virtualization Experience
- VMware
- Nutanix
- Azure Stack
- OpenShift
- Kubernetes background
- VMware Tanzu
- SUSE Rancher
- OpenShift
- Hardware Knowledge
- Cisco UCS B and C series servers
- Dell VxRail
Skills/Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Relevant experience in an enterprise environment with data center hardware and virtualization with VMware and above tools
- Patch and Vulnerability Management
- System and Software Deployment
