The Functional Expert demonstrates leadership by partnering with cross functional teams to guide and deliver VIM configuration and implementations; gathers requirements for the IT department to transform ideas and I2P processes through continuous improvements and system implementations, verifying that the solution provided match the business desired outcome. Prepares user acceptance testing, verifies and troubleshoots the results, and captures best practices for further configuration of new units/entities. Performs assessments of impact and supports global ERP governance, follows up with period slot testing to prevent system failures, participates in regression testings.

What would be your key responsibilities?

• Driving the project phases related to requirement checks, VIM configuration analysis and implementation, UAT creation and BRD preparation.

• Handling the configuration of VIM: invoices ingestion through OCR, invoice processing, exception handling, approval procedures, SAP integration.

• Troubleshooting the VIM Implementation during the different phases, performs analysis of system functionalities, flags potential risks and suggests improvements and good ways of working, both for new entities and for wave 2 of implementations.

• Collaborating with different departments and individuals, including and not limited to: AP functional experts, Procurement and invoice to Pay, Project Managers, General Accounting, IT.

What are we looking for?

• University degree in Finance and Accounting or MBA equivalent.

• 5+ years of Procurement to Pay experience, (comprehension/experience of General Finance principles is a plus).

• Previous VIM implementation and configuration experience.

• Project Management certification desired.

• Digital Transformation and Automation experience.

• Proven track record of working in regional/global teams.

• Experience with SAP FI module knowledge (SD module knowledge is a plus).

• Strong working knowledge of Procure to Pay, Business analysis and system implementation experience.

• Fluent English (Polish is nice to have).
