Your Opportunity 

This is a casual opportunity based at Woolooware Shores, offering flexible shifts across weekdays and weekends with a potential to transition into a permanent role. 

  • As a Village Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for residents, visitors, contractors and service providers, creating positive first impressions and delivering excellent customer service every day. 

  • Working closely with the Resident Services Manager and village teams, you will support day-to-day reception operations, assist residents with enquiries, coordinate administrative tasks and provide transportation (buggy shuttle)support within the village. 

With warmth, professionalism and a customer-focused approach, you will: 

Customer Service & Resident Support 

  • Welcome residents, visitors and contractors and direct them to the appropriate locations within the village 

  • Provide exceptional customer service and respond to enquiries promptly and professionally 

  • Support residents with information about village activities, events and services 

  • Build positive relationships with residents and contribute to a welcoming village atmosphere 

  • Safely operate the village buggy shuttle service to assist residents travelling throughout the community 

Administration and Village Support 

  • Support reception and administrative functions across the village 

  • Assist with newsletter preparation, notices and resident communications 

  • Help coordinate room set-ups and logistics for village events and activities 

  • Maintain accurate information and assist with general office administration 

  • Support village teams with a range of administrative and customer service tasks 

Safety and Workplace Culture 

  • Promote a safe, clean and welcoming environment for residents and visitors 

  • Follow workplace health and safety requirements and report hazards or incidents appropriately 

  • Support Anglicare's Vision, Mission and Values through everyday interactions 

  • Foster a respectful, inclusive and community-focused workplace culture 

What You will Bring 

You are a friendly, approachable, and service-focused professional who enjoys interacting with people and creating positive customer experiences.  

What’s required: 

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in customer service, reception or administrative role 

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills 

  • Excellent customer service skills and a genuine desire to help others 

  • Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications 

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail 

  • Ability to build rapport with people from diverse backgrounds 

  • Current Driver's License is essential

What's preferred 

  • Previous experience in aged care, retirement living,(not essential) hospitality or community services 

  • Experience working in a busy reception or front-of-house environment 

  • Experience supporting events, activities or community programs
