Job Description:

The Volunteer for International Experience (VIE) is a unique international program sponsored by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Employment, open to Airbus to offer young professionals the opportunity to have valuable paid work experience abroad in a technical or business function.

The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France’s eligibility criteria.

VIE Main Requirements:

• European Union citizens (plus Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Monaco), graduates up to and including 28 years old

• Have fulfilled military obligations for their country, if any

A VIE for a Digital Project Manager has arisen within Airbus Australia Pacific in Brisbane, Australia. 

The contract duration of VIE is 12 months.

You will actively participate in the management of multiple Digital projects from the scoping and planning stages through to the implementation of the solutions and the project completion including the handover and closure. The types of projects can vary in complexity and will be in transversal digital environments, such as software developments, RPA, regional deployments of new technology initiatives, departmental digitalizations and more. 

Part of the project management center of excellence of the Digital Asia Pacific (APAC) organization, you will be involved in planning, organization, control and coordination of digital projects, in accordance with the applicable strategies & frameworks such as internal Airbus methodologies and agile project management.

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks will include:

  • Participate in the day to day project operations including resourcing, tasks assignment  scheduling and planning. 

  • Monitoring the achievement of project milestones, objectives and deliverables within the agreed scope, agreed timeframes and agreed budgets.

  • Monitoring and controlling the project including the management of risks and opportunities. 

  • Ensure stakeholder management in order to coordinate internal digital stakeholders (regional and central) for project deliveries, business stakeholders  part of the project and external parties.

  • Participate in the development of business cases that bring value to the Airbus Asia Pacific business (budget and prioritization)

Required skills

You have the following skills and experience: 

  • Degree or other tertiary qualification in Information Management; or relevant professional experience 

  • Experience in project management, preferably in Digital functions like information technology or solutions

  • Demonstrated experience leading the full lifecycle of projects from inception, to planning through implementation and closure

  • Knowledge of different project management methodologies (agile, waterfall)

In addition you are capable to demonstrate the following skills: 

  • High level of interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build long lasting and collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders

  • Ability to explain complex subjects with communication level targeted appropriately to audiences

  • Planning and organisational skills

  • Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality and customer satisfaction

  • Language Skills: English advanced/negotiation

Un poste sous contrat VIE “Chef de projet Digital” est à pourvoir au sein d’Airbus Australia Pacific à Brisbane, Australie.

La durée du VIE est de 12 mois

Vous participerez activement à la gestion de multiples projets numériques, depuis les phases de définition et de planification jusqu'à la mise en œuvre des solutions et leur finalisation, y compris la livraison et la clôture. Les projets peuvent être de complexité variable et s'inscrivent dans des environnements digitaux transversaux, tels que le développement de logiciels, la RPA, les déploiements régionaux de nouvelles technologies, la digitalisation des services, etc.

Intégré au centre d'excellence en gestion de projet de l'organisation Digital Asia Pacific (APAC), vous devrez pour ce poste prendre part à la planification, l’organisation, au contrôle et à la coordination des projets digitaux conformément aux stratégies et cadres applicables, tels que les méthodologies internes d'Airbus et la gestion de projet agile.

Missions et responsabilités :

Vous serez en charge des activités principales suivantes :

  • Participer activement aux opérations quotidiennes du projet, y compris la gestion des ressources, la planification et l'affectation des tâches.

  • Suivi du respect des jalons, des objectifs et des livrables du projet dans le cadre du périmètre, des délais et des budgets convenus.

  • Assurer le suivi et le contrôle du projet, y compris la gestion des risques et des opportunités.

  • Assurer la gestion des parties prenantes afin de coordonner les parties prenantes internes (régionales et centrales) pour la livraison du projet, les parties prenantes métiers impliquées dans le projet et les parties externes.

  • Participer à l’élaboration des analyses de rentabilité qui apportent de la valeur à l'activité Airbus Asie-Pacifique.

Compétences requises

Vous avez les expériences et les compétences suivantes : 

  • Diplôme supérieur ou équivalent en gestion de l'information 

  • Expérience en gestion de projet, de préférence dans des fonctions digitales (IT ou solutions IT )

  • Expérience dans la conduite de projets, de leur conception à leur planification, en passant par leur mise en œuvre et leur clôture.

  • Connaissance des différentes méthodologies de gestion de projet (Agile, Waterfall).

En outre, vous êtes en mesure de démontrer les compétences suivantes :

  • Excellentes compétences interpersonnelles et en communication, avec la capacité à établir des relations durables et collaboratives avec les parties prenantes internes.

  • Capacité à expliquer des sujets complexes avec un niveau de communication adapté au public.

  • Compétences en planification et en organisation

  • Engagement démontré en matière de sécurité, de qualité et de satisfaction client.

  • Compétences linguistiques : Niveau avancé/négociation en Anglais
