Do you love motion design? Are you interested in working in a creatively inspired environment? We're looking for a Video/Animation Lead to join the Hero Digital Creative team. This is a contract position.
Who you are
- 5+ years professional experience crafting outstanding motion and animation designs
- Strong technical skills within animation, software solutions, and production pipelines
- Ability to quickly and independently pivot between assignments
- Ability to balance multiple projects concurrently, with excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to effectively navigate client presentations, lead design reviews, and inspire internal and external partners in the design process
- Ability to translate marketing and business objectives into impactful design solutions
- An online portfolio or samples of work demonstrating strong animation and design capabilities
- Expert knowledge in motion design principles, with a strong emphasis on video and web-based animation, including 2D and 3D animation
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including Premiere, After Effects and Final Cut Pro
- Degree in motion graphics, animation or video production preferred
What you'll do
- Create eleven one-minute videos that describe storage unit spaces. These videos exist but the source files do not, so they need to be recreated from scratch
- Work with the Associate Creative Director to minimally update the design.
- Translate assignment details and creative direction into visually compelling solutions through the creation of template and custom animations for short turn-around and long-range projects
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary project teams, working with project management and engineering to implement designs into technology
- Effectively present design ideas and solutions to internal partners
The first video will have two rounds of revisions and approval before creating the other ten. All eleven videos are to be produced within three weeks.
