VTR - Video Tape Recorder support.
• Repair and maintain all the various Broadcast Video Tape Recorders.
• Experience with Deck types are Sony 3/4", 1", and 1/2" formats.
• Experience with Panasonic D5 and DVC PRO decks.
• Must be able to perform a rebuild of the mechanical transport systems, including head and drum replacement, and electrical alignment.
• Perform preventive maintenance to the decks throughout the campus.
• Troubleshooting to component level
• Will be responsible for maintaining a parts inventory.
• Should have a strong electronic and mechanical ability - including the use of small tools.
• Must be able to read schematics, maintenance procedures, operate an oscilloscope, and have computer skills.
• Some heavy lifting is required

- Video/Audio background a must
- Electronic Technician Certificate preferred.
- Familiarity with NTSC Test Equipment, patterns and charts.
- Must have excellent soldering skills.
- Understand - wiring diagrams, block diagrams, and reading schematics
