The Opportunity:
The Video Production Specialist position is an opportunity to contribute to the creation of content for WUCF's most popular local program, Florida Road Trip. Working with the program Executive Producer, this position will help shape the look and feel of the program through a videographer's eye for composition and lighting in the field, as well as a producer's attention to research, detail, and curiosity.

Classification Title: Broadcast Production Specialist II
Responsibilities:
Support camera operation and lighting for field production.
Research and pitch story ideas that align with content strategies and goals.
Write and edit copy under deadline.
Edit for multi-platform content for broadcast and digital.
Support other production team duties as necessary.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree and 2+ years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219(6).
Preferred Qualifications:
Production experience in an internship or professional setting, including recording and editing.
Field videography experience.
Experience with research and writing for film or television production.
Familiarity with Adobe software systems.
Experience in creating engaging digital content for various platforms.
Experience conducting or assisting with research at the college level.

Special Instructions to the Applicants:
The anticipated salary range for this position is $50,000 to negotiable. The final salary will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, and internal equity considerations.

Position requires a valid Class E driver’s license. This position may involve driving to various locations on and off campus to conduct University business.
