With a community size of over 2 million strong and an influential following, we are looking for a Video Producer, Social Media & Content with a social-first eye who can ideate, shoot and edit entertaining yet informative video content to help bolster our digital presence and expand our audience. This is an extremely exciting time for the company, and you'll play a big part in our growth.
In this role, you will report to the Director of Social Media & Content and collaborate with our Marketing, Creative, and Product teams to develop compelling, brand-right video content that engages and grows our customer base. You will edit videos daily and explore new formats to drive channel growth through social media and other marketing channels. To succeed, you'll need a deep understanding of social media platforms and their users, creativity, a clear point of view, a knack for visual storytelling, and an ability to work nimbly while efficiently responding to feedback. You will have experience managing a video production calendar, executing high and low production (via iPhone) video shoots, and adapting edits to different formats.
What you’ll do
- Collaborate with the Director of Social Media & Content and Senior Design Director to develop and execute multiple video franchises and short-form content.
- Manage a video production calendar and all post-production workflows, including meeting deadlines for social media publishing goals.
- Adapt video edits to multiple social media platforms, including but not limited to Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and YouTube Shorts.
- On occasion, direct and shoot high and low production (via iPhone) videos.
- Develop on-trend original content. Create and test new social creative formats, specifically as it relates to broader social conversations, design, and pop culture.
- Collaborate crossfunctionally with multiple teams, including but not limited to Creative, Product, Paid Media, Editorial, Trade, Seller, and Art & Design Research.
What you’ll bring
- 4+ years of video editing experience and managing content production
- Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro and Photoshop
- Fluency with social media platforms including but not limited to Instagram, TikTok and YouTube
- A detail-oriented, adaptable, and creative nature, with a pulse on current trends and a passion for and understanding of the 1stDibs brand voice and audience
Not a requirement, but a huge plus!
- Familiarity with Adobe After Effects and Figma
- Understanding of the design, luxury, and/or interiors space
- Comfortability with appearing in front of the camera as needed
