The Role
At REGENT, we’re on a mission to revolutionize regional coastal transportation by developing and manufacturing the seaglider, a novel wing-in-ground-effect craft that operates over water within a wingspan of the surface and combines the speed of an airplane with the low operating costs of a boat.

Role Overview 
We are looking for a motivated, creative, and detail-oriented Video Producer and Editor to join our team and tell the REGENT story. This role requires a passion for storytelling, technical expertise in video production, and a strong understanding of editing footage into high-quality videos for various digital platforms. You will be responsible for pitching, developing, filming, editing, and optimizing a steady stream of high-quality videos for multiple digital platforms.   
 
What You’ll Do:

Content Planning and Storytelling 
Plan, develop and execute videos from concept to completion to support brand narratives and share company milestones 
Maintain an editorial calendar to ensure a consistent content pipeline 
Ensure consistency in branding, tone, and style across all video content 
Collaborate with other teams to develop compelling videos and grow audiences and views across digital platforms

Video Production  
Take a “shoot-to-edit" approach to developing stories and capturing footage in a variety of formats 
Capture footage of on-water seaglider sea trials and on-site testing and integration 
Conduct in-the-field interviews, including developing questions, asking questions, and identifying and securing soundbites  
Maintain and organize video production equipment, ensuring proper functionality

Video Editing  
Edit and assemble raw footage into polished, engaging videos 
Perform color correction and audio mixing to achieve high-quality production value  
Optimize video content for various social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, and X 
Manage digital assets, maintaining an efficient workflow for storing and retrieving video files  

What We're Looking For

  • Video content development: You have a strong understanding of storytelling and narrative development and a demonstrated ability to “shoot to edit” and capture and optimize content for various digital platforms. 
  • Video production expertise: You have demonstrated experience capturing video independently in various environments and a strong understanding of new production techniques and emerging video formats. 
  • Video editing expertise: You’re proficient in lighting, composition, and sound design for video editing and have demonstrated experience in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects) 
  • Planning and time management skills: You have a proven ability to create and manage an editorial calendar, organize and maintain digital assets, and meet deadlines. 
  • Cross-functional collaboration: You have experience working across teams to identify narratives and filming opportunities, and you proactively solicit early feedback and manage a structured review process with internal stakeholders.  
  • Passion for innovation: You are strongly committed to developing innovative video content that aligns with REGENT’s core goals.  
  • Entrepreneurial mindset:You’re comfortable in a fast-paced, startup environment and have an ability to think creatively and drive data-backed results.

REGENT’s mission is to drastically reduce the time and cost of moving people and goods between coastal cities. Our vehicle, called a seaglider, is an all-electric, wing-in-ground-effect craft that operates within a wingspan of the water's surface and couples the speed of an airplane with the operating cost of a boat.
