Role Summary
The Video Editor & Designer will work closely with the Digital team to develop, edit, and deliver high-quality visual and video content across multiple platforms. This role is responsible for translating creative concepts and business needs into compelling video and design outputs that support marketing, branding, social media, and corporate communications initiatives. The ideal candidate combines strong design sensibilities with hands-on video editing expertise and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Design and develop creative visual assets, including videos, animations, graphics, and multimedia content for presentations, digital campaigns, websites, and social media platforms.
- Edit video content from concept to final delivery, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and project objectives.
- Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to review requirements, recommend creative solutions, and execute design concepts effectively.
- Develop layouts, motion graphics, and animations using tools such as After Effects and other relevant animation software.
- Create visually engaging concepts that clearly communicate ideas and messages to target audiences.
- Translate business requirements and creative briefs into visually compelling, audience-centered content.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Incorporate feedback constructively and continuously improve creative outputs.
- Support ad-hoc design and video assignments as requested by the direct manager.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Multimedia, Visual Arts, or a related field, or a strong portfolio demonstrating video editing and visual design capabilities.
- 2–3 years of experience in video editing, design, advertising, branding, PR, or agency environments.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Premiere Pro, After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
- Strong visual storytelling, video editing, and motion design skills.
- Excellent time management and multitasking abilities.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work effectively with different stakeholders.
- Creative, detail-oriented, and solution-driven mindset.
- Must be based in Amman or willing to relocate.
