Position Summary
The Video Editor & Content Repurposing Specialist will be responsible for editing educational videos, creating short-form content, adding captions and branding, and preparing video assets for multiple marketing channels.
This role will work closely with the Content Manager to convert one video recording into multiple content assets.
Primary Responsibilities
Long-Form Video Editing
Edit recorded Zoom interviews and educational sessions into professional YouTube videos.
Responsibilities include:
Removing pauses and filler content
Improving flow and pacing
Enhancing audio quality
Adding branded intros and outros
Adding lower-thirds and titles
Adding chapter markers
Adding call-to-action screens
Exporting final YouTube-ready videos
Target Output:
4–6 long-form videos per month
Short-Form Video Creation
Create engaging short clips from long-form videos.

Responsibilities:
Identify key moments
Create attention-grabbing hooks
Add captions
Add branding
Optimize vertical format
Target Output:
15–25 short-form videos per month
Captioning & Accessibility
Responsibilities:

Review AI-generated captions
Ensure readability
Maintain professional presentation
Brand Consistency
Maintain BFG branding standards:
Logo placement
Intro/outro templates
Typography consistency
Visual quality standards
Content Asset Management
Organize and manage:
Raw recordings
Edited videos
Short clips
Project files
Thumbnail assets
Maintain organized folder structures in Google Drive.
Collaboration
Work closely with:

Receive editing instructions

SEO Team
Support YouTube SEO requirements
Add chapter timestamps
Support metadata preparation

- Video compression, export settings, file management, and thumbnail preparation
- Organize and maintain folder structures and assets in Google Drive
- Ability to deliver target output: ~4-6 long-form videos and 15-25 short-form videos per month
- Experience editing for professional services, accounting, financial services, educational channels, or consulting firms
- Familiarity with YouTube best practices, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn content, and social media video trends
- Support YouTube SEO tasks including chapter timestamps and metadata preparation
