The Ideal Candidate:

As a result of our robust growth, we are looking for a Video & Content Specialist to lead the development and execution of compelling visual content across video, photography, digital and brand storytelling initiatives to join our marketing team in our Saint John, NB office.

Success in this role will require energy, enthusiasm, a positive and entrepreneurial attitude as well as advanced skills in communication, time management and collaboration at all levels of the organization. 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end video production including planning, shooting, editing and final delivery across multiple platforms and formats
  • Develop content for social media, digital campaigns, customer presentations, tradeshows, events and internal communications
  • Coordinate all aspects of production including scheduling, location setup, equipment management and stakeholder alignment 
  • Execute post-production workflows including editing, revisions, formatting, motion graphics, audio balancing and final exports
  • Develop workback schedules, production timelines and ETA tracking for large-scale initiatives
  • Design and produce animations, title cards, transitions and motion graphic assets using Adobe Creative Suite tools including but not limited to Premiere Pro and After Effects
  • Capture high-quality photography across product, lifestyle, customer, event and operational environments
  • Execute both studio and on-location shoots using professional camera, lighting and audio equipment 
  • Operate drone photography and videography equipment where applicable 

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Degree or diploma in Marketing, Creative Media, Photography, Film Production, Communications or related field preferred
  • 3–7+ years of experience in video production, photography, digital content creation or creative services
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite including Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop and Lightroom
  • Strong photography, videography, editing and post-production capabilities
  • Experience managing shoots, lighting, audio and production equipment
  • Experience creating content for social, digital and commercial environments
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Experience with Monday.com, SharePoint and DAM systems considered an asset
  • Drone certification and experience considered an asset
