Role Overview:

We're looking for a Video Content Marketer who is a social media native with a passion for creating viral content. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to blend your creative video skills with a strategic marketing mindset to grow Oze’s online presence and build a loyal community of users. You'll be responsible for not just following trends, but setting them, creating video-driven content that stands out, and leveraging your marketing knowledge to boost engagement and drive results.


You should be comfortable jumping on trends, analyzing data, and creating high-quality content that connects with our audience in an authentic and engaging way. Your role will be crucial in growing brand awareness, increasing engagement, and building a community of passionate Oze advocates.


Job Responsibilities:

  1. Develop eye-catching, shareable videos, memes, GIFs, and social posts that align with the latest trends on platforms like TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook.
  2. Take charge of the entire video creation process, from ideation to production, editing, and optimization. Focus on creating short-form video content designed to go viral.
  3. Help schedule and publish content on time according to our strategic calendar, ensuring it aligns with the overall marketing strategy and seasonal campaigns.
  4. Track performance metrics to analyze what's resonating with our audience. Use data insights to fine-tune video content for maximum engagement and conversion.
  5. Stay on top of emerging trends and viral moments on social media and create content that taps into these trends in real time.
  6. Conduct research to identify potential Oze entrepreneur stories and collaborate on case study development.
  7. Work closely with the Community Manager to cultivate a strong, engaged online community. Develop strategies to keep our followers involved and excited about Oze.
  8. Perform other assigned tasks to support the marketing team to execute a comprehensive social media strategy across platforms. 
  9. Use analytics tools to track and optimize social media content performance. Identify patterns, make recommendations, and experiment with new content types and formats.

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience using tools like Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, or mobile editing apps to create high-quality videos for social media (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of how to use content (particularly video) to drive marketing goals such as brand awareness, lead generation, and community growth.
  • Ability to spot emerging trends and incorporate them into your content strategy quickly and effectively.
  • Experience in launching community initiatives (e.g. building an online forum, launching an ambassador program, creating an event series and writing an email newsletter)
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a knack for crafting compelling captions
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

On the other side is a portal for financial institutions that combines the app’s crowdsourced data with alternative data sources to assign a credit risk score to each Oze user.
