The Role:
We are looking for a talented Long-Form Video Editor to join the Crypto Banter team. In this role, you will be responsible for editing high-quality, engaging, and polished long-form video content (interviews, podcasts, live streams, and deep-dive discussions) that align with our brand’s fast-paced and informative style.
Key Responsibilities:
Edit and produce high quality videos that align with crypto centric scripts and voiceovers.
Source and integrate relevant charts, data, stock footage, animations, graphics, and B-roll to match the script’s themes.
Add visual effects, motion graphics, subtitles, and transitions to enhance storytelling.
Ensure smooth pacing, scene transitions, and engaging visual flow to maintain viewer retention.
Optimize video formats, resolutions, and compression settings for YouTube best practices.
Collaborate with the content and design teams to refine video styles, branding, and creative direction.
Stay up-to-date with YouTube trends and algorithm-friendly editing techniques.
Learn and collect necessary information about crypto in order to eventually become fully self-sufficient at sourcing elements and assets.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Video Editor and animator, preferably for highly engaging YouTube content.
Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or similar software.
Strong ability to source stock footage, animations, and relevant visuals.
Experience working with AI-generated voiceovers and scripts is a plus.
Creativity in video editing, storytelling, and engagement optimization.
Understanding of YouTube SEO, retention strategies, and audience engagement techniques.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced content environment.
Knowledge of AI tools for video enhancement, voice modulation, or animation.
Bonus Skills:
Experience with motion graphics, 3D elements, or AI-generated visuals.
Crypto or Stock trading knowledge to assist you in better understanding scripts and visuals to pair with it.
Familiarity with YouTube analytics and performance-driven editing strategies.
