Due to the nature of the work, a current NV1 Security Clearance is an essential requirement for this role. We can only consider applicants who already hold an active NV1 clearance, but bonus points if you have an active NV2 Security Clearance.
What you'll do
As part of the Video Teleconferencing (VTC) team, you'll be the first point of contact for customers requiring support with collaboration and video conferencing technologies.
Be the first point of contact for customers using video conferencing and collaboration technologies, providing clear, helpful support.
Manage service requests and incidents end to end, keeping customers updated and working towards timely resolutions.
Troubleshoot issues across video conferencing platforms, hardware, audio, video and connectivity services.
Work with technical teams to diagnose, escalate and restore services when more complex issues arise.
Keep accurate records of incidents, troubleshooting steps and customer interactions, while sharing knowledge and improvement ideas with the team.
About you
We're looking for people who are naturally curious, enjoy helping others and have a genuine interest in tech. You may already have experience in technical support, customer service or a service desk environment, and you're excited by the opportunity to continue learning and developing your technical skills.
A current NV1 Security Clearance is mandatory, with the ability to work from Canberra and attend the office as required.
Some experience in customer-facing/ customer service, service desk, technical support or an operational environment.
Strong communication, customer service and problem-solving skills, with the ability to follow structured troubleshooting processes.
A genuine interest in tech, a collaborative mindset and the ability to manage competing priorities while continuing to learn.

Skills Required
- NV1 Security Clearance (minimum) with ability to obtain and maintain NV2
- Experience in a customer-facing technical support, service desk or operational support environment
- Understanding of video conferencing technologies and collaboration platforms, or strong willingness to learn
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to follow structured troubleshooting processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach
- Experience using service management and collaboration tools (DSMS, TAMIT, Service Manager, SharePoint, Objective, Confluence)
- Knowledge of Cisco TMS, Cisco Meeting Management, PEXIP, AMX RMS, Polycom Clarity Manager or basic networking skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage competing priorities
- Ability to work primarily from Canberra and attend the office as required
- NV2 Security Clearance preferred
