Key Responsibilities:Market Intelligence & Capital Strategy
- Serve as the internal expert on credit markets, providing regular briefings on trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Maintain strong relationships with market makers, lenders, financial institutions, and rating agencies.
- Identify and evaluate credit market opportunities and risks to inform funding strategies.
- Provide input on capital structure, draw schedules, and alignment of credit terms with business strategy.
Risk Management
- Develop and lead strategies for managing foreign exchange (FX) and interest rate risk across the portfolio.
- Implement and manage hedging strategies to reduce earnings volatility and protect financial performance.
- Ensure compliance with hedge accounting standards and oversee related documentation and execution.
Treasury Operations
- Oversee daily cash management, banking operations, intercompany liquidity, and funding activities.
- Partner with Finance to enhance cash visibility, forecasting, and liquidity planning.
- Support banking relationships, account structures, and banking technology implementation.
- Establish and maintain robust controls and governance for treasury operations.
Credit & Compliance
- Lead execution of credit agreements in collaboration with FP&A and legal teams.
- Drive compliance with financial covenants, reporting requirements, and lender communications.
Organizational Leadership
- Assess current Treasury team structure, processes, and talent against future organizational needs.
- Design and implement a scalable, forward-looking Treasury organization.
- Provide coaching and mentorship to team members, promoting strategic thinking and cross-functional collaboration.
- Foster a culture of accountability, performance, and continuous improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in corporate treasury, capital markets, or financial risk management.
- Proven leadership experience in a complex, global organization.
- Deep understanding of credit markets, FX and interest rate risk, and treasury operations.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and communication skills.
- Experience with hedge accounting, treasury systems, and financial modeling.
