About the Role & Team

Our team creates world-class immersive digital experiences for the Company's premier vacation brands including Disney's Parks & Resorts worldwide, Disney Cruise Line, Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa, and Disney Vacation Club. We are responsible for the end-to-end digital and physical Guest experience for all technology & digital-led initiatives across the Attractions & Entertainment, Food & Beverage, Resorts & Transportation and Merchandise lines of business as well as other initiatives including MyDisneyExperience and Hey, Disney!
The Vice President, Technology & Digital for Disneyland Resort is responsible for the business relationship, technology roadmap alignment with the business, and 24x7 technology operations for the Disneyland Resort. This role reports to the SVP, US Parks Technology & Digital, Experiences group.
Additionally, this role is a key member of the President's steering committee of the Disneyland Resort business, the Commercial Steering Committee, and other key operations leadership forums.
What You Will Do

  • Work with the various functional technology executive leaders to develop, prioritize and refine the technology and digital strategy and capabilities roadmap. Responsible for the on-time and on-budget delivery of the roadmaps as well as disruption-free and responsive technology and digital operations.
  • Oversee all aspects of the technology and digital solutions deployed across Disneyland including operational incident resolution and ensures high system availability and minimum business impact.
  • Responsible for technology delivery functions of the technology portfolio specific to Disneyland including, but not limited to, solution design and development, cost estimation and financial planning, sustainment, security, testing, and application operations.
  • Collaborate with and influence executive business leadership to deliver technology and digital solutions that directly deliver business strategy and value.
  • Continuously ensure appropriate processes, personnel and required technology capabilities are in place to meet business availability and performance service level agreements.
  • Anticipate and address the risks' associated with day-to-day technology operations. Ensure ongoing operational stability of the current applications and systems.
  • 'Connect the dots' between and keep pace with technology developments, business/financial forecasts, competitive landscape, evolving customer needs, and initiative goals/deadlines.
  • Build, up-skill, and mentor a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and team. Create paths for career opportunities, training, and development.


Preferred Skills and Experiences

  • Experience in application development and implementation in a complex corporate environment
  • Track-record of delivering innovative, high-quality solutions on-time and on-budget including annual operating & 5-year financial plan detail.
  • Ability to build senior executive level relationships across Disney Experiences, within The Walt Disney Company and the ability to operate in matrixed and complex environments.
  • A leader that people choose to follow; someone who challenges their teams - and self, to deliver the absolute best in everything they do while fueling the creativity of the teams around them.
  • Think big and broad, without being constrained by existing norms or business models.
  • Recognize and celebrate diverse backgrounds, points of view, and cultural histories that directly impact the organization's ability to innovate.


Required Qualifications & Skills

  • 14+ years' experience combined business and digital experience, with 5+ years of leadership or management capacity.


Education

  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Masters' in computer science, or MBA preferred.


Additional Information
This role is located in Anaheim, California.
The hiring range for this position in Anaheim, CA is $292,400 to $392,100 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
