We are looking for a hands-on, VP-level leader who can bridge business, product, and technology across Alpha and Middle Office platforms.
This role requires a strong domain-led technologist (12–15+ years) who can:
- Translate complex business problems into clear, execution-ready outcomes
- Drive end-to-end ownership of the requirements lifecycle
- Apply data-driven thinking and modern tooling including AI-assisted workflows to improve speed and quality of delivery

What you will be responsible for
Business Analysis & Product Alignment
- Partner with business, product, and operations teams to define and refine requirements for complex Middle Office platforms
- Own the end-to-end lifecycle: discovery, documentation, prioritization, and traceability
- Translate business needs into clear functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Use modern tools including AI-assisted capabilities where relevant to improve requirement clarity, documentation, and analysis efficiency
- Drive data-backed decision-making using SQL and platform insights
- Act as a bridge between business and engineering, ensuring clarity and reducing delivery risk
Execution & Delivery
- Provide leadership to BA and QA teams (onshore/offshore)
- Drive standardization of SDLC and best practices across teams
- Ensure execution of large, cross-functional programs with tight timelines
- Embed early validation and automation mindset across requirements and testing
- Work closely with engineering teams aligned to API-first, event-driven, and microservices architectures
Leadership & Team Development
- Mentor teams to evolve from traditional BA roles toward product-aligned, outcome-driven analysts
- Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Encourage adoption of automation and smarter ways of working across BA and QA practices
- Engage effectively with senior business and technology leadership

Basic Qualifications
- 12–15+ years of experience in Financial Services Technology (Front/Middle Office)
- Strong experience in Business Analysis roles
- Proven ability to translate business needs into scalable technology solutions
- Deep experience in Agile delivery (story writing, backlog grooming, traceability)
- Strong data analysis skills (SQL) for validation and troubleshooting
- Experience working in distributed teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Domain expertise in Middle Office, Cash, IBOR, Trade Processing
- Familiarity with AI-assisted tools (e.g., Copilot) to enhance productivity
- Experience with event-driven systems, Kafka, APIs, and microservices
- Exposure to cloud-native architectures (AWS/Azure)
- Experience driving test automation and QA transformation
- Strong understanding of data reconciliation and downstream impacts
- Knowledge of Swift MT/MX, ISO 20022
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 3 days onsite
- Flexible alignment with global teams (onshore/offshore collaboration required)
Salary Range:
$115,000 - $205,000 AnnualThe range quoted above applies to the role in the location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the location above, the applicable range could differ.

Skills Required
