- Taking responsibility and ownership of Arc’teryx global sustainability strategy, while maintaining collaboration and alignment with Amer Sports Group, and leading the evolution of a comprehensive, long-term strategy that amplifies positive impact as our organization expands and becomes more complex
- Formulating and leading the execution of our sustainability roadmap out to 2028, including the planning and execution of phasing year by year in support of organizational readiness
- Lead a high performing sustainability leadership team of direct reports and cross functional leaders who will partner with you in the success of critical areas like climate, circularity, and impact
- Act as the cultural leader of Sustainability for the organization, fostering trust and transparency of our sustainability practices throughout the company and acting as an ambassador for Arc’teryx’s core values and behaviors
- Collaborating with Arc’teryx senior leadership to seamlessly integrate sustainability into our organizational strategy, including advocating and engaging in challenging conversations to challenge our status quo and navigate change leadership
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainability principles into product development, supply chain management, and corporate operations
- Partnering with Amer Sports Group and the sustainability teams of our sister brands to share best practices and maintain collaboration of our common goals
- Defining and directing forward-thinking metrics and ensuring consistent, credible reporting on our sustainability initiatives and science-based targets
- Partnering with our communications team in developing impactful communications related to our sustainability impact locally and globally
- Leading regular risk prioritization and sustainability maturity and materiality assessments following industry best practices
- Identifying and implementing necessary processes and tools to uphold environmental impact and human rights principles
- Upholding Fair Labor Association’s Workplace Code of Conduct and Principles of Fair Labor and Responsible Sourcing throughout the Arc’teryx supply chain

Are you our next Vice President, Sustainability?
- You have 15+ years’ experience in leading brand sustainability programs along with a degree in sustainability, environmental science, or other related field, and you likely have advanced educationin a focused area.
- You have strong influential leadership, with the ability to drive alignment across diverse cross-functional stakeholders at all levels of the business
- You have a strong understanding of the apparel and gear industry, from product development to material production
- You have an in-depth understanding of chemical, materials, and product environmental impacts and are committed to ongoing learning to stay abreast of new research
- You have experience with complex project management, including coordinating multi-stakeholder interests and cross-functional teams
- You have excellent communication skills - interpersonal, written and verbal
- You set a clear vision, align your team around common objectives, and foster commitment to these objectives
- You have a proven track record in developing and leading the execution of a multi-year business strategy
- You have extreme attention to detail
- You have proven business acumen and analytical skills
- You are entrepreneurial with the ability to make decisions and take calculated risks
