We're looking for an experienced supply chain executive to help lead that growth.
This role is based in Portland, Oregon. While we're recruiting nationally, we're especially interested in connecting with candidates in the Portland and Seattle markets, where we believe there's exceptional talent with the multi-unit restaurant and foodservice experience we're seeking. Relocation assistance is available for the selected candidate.
Reporting directly to our President & CEO, you'll lead the strategy and execution of our end-to-end supply chain, including planning, procurement, logistics, distribution, inventory management, quality assurance, and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP).
You'll partner closely with leaders across Manufacturing, Retail Operations, Finance, R&D, Marketing, and Business Development to build a supply chain that supports continued growth while protecting the quality, consistency, and guest experience our brand is known for.
What You'll Do- Set the long-term strategy for Salt & Straw's supply chain as we continue to grow.
- Lead planning, procurement, logistics, distribution, inventory management, quality assurance, and S&OP.
- Build and strengthen a scalable distribution network that supports our expanding retail, CPG, and wholesale businesses.
- Partner with Manufacturing to align production planning, inventory strategy, and new product commercialization.
- Develop strong supplier and distribution partnerships while balancing cost, quality, service, and continuity of supply.
- Improve forecasting, inventory performance, transportation, and operational efficiency through data, systems, and process improvements.
- Build and develop a high-performing supply chain organization.
- Serve as a strategic member of the executive leadership team, helping shape the company's long-term growth.
We're looking for a proven leader who has built and led supply chain organizations in a complex, multi-unit restaurant, QSR, or foodservice environment.
You likely bring experience with:
- Multi-unit supply chain and distribution leadership
- Logistics, transportation, procurement, and inventory management
- Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP)
- Scaling operations through periods of rapid growth
- Building strong supplier relationships and improving operational performance
- Leading and developing high-performing teams
- Partnering across functions to solve complex business challenges
Experience supporting CPG, wholesale, or co-manufacturing operations is a plus.

- Demonstrated ability to build and develop high-performing supply chain teams
- Proven cross-functional partnership experience (Manufacturing, Retail Operations, Finance, R&D, Marketing, Business Development)
- Experience supporting CPG, wholesale, or co-manufacturing operations
- Willingness to travel approximately 15% to offices, manufacturing facilities, shops, and partner locations
- Based in or willing to relocate to Portland, OR (relocation assistance available)

Salt & Straw is a small-batch, chef-driven ice cream company founded in 2011 in Portland, Oregon.
