As Vice President, Sourcing and Procurement, you will be accountable for leading and developing the global sourcing and category strategies, supplier relationship management and external manufacturing operations. You will also lead our category management and procurement teams. The role covers both direct and indirect sourcing and is responsible for ensuring material availability and efficient cost management. You will drive cost optimization, supply continuity and development, material cost forecasting for customer projects, and support Group’s competitiveness in both direct and indirect costs.

What you will do:

  • Global Sourcing Strategy: Develop and execute the global sourcing and procurement strategy aligned with Group goals. Lead category strategies and their development across direct and indirect spend.

  • Team Leadership & Transformation: Lead and develop sourcing and procurement teams while driving transformation initiatives in your responsibility area to improve efficiency and performance of our sourcing and procurement.

  • Supplier Relationship Management: Own and manage commercial supplier relationships and operational performance. Develop collaboration with suppliers and ensure effective supplier performance management.

  • Cost Management & Negotiations: Be accountable for direct material costs, inflation management, and indirect service costs. Drive competitive bidding, RFx processes, and strategic negotiations while ensuring efficient material cost forecasting for long-term customer projects.

  • Performance & Risk Management: Develop supply chain-related KPIs, identify and mitigate supplier-related risks and opportunities, and ensure achievement of savings targets and value delivery. Manage procurement budgets, reporting, and spend analysis.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders including Sales, Project Management, Product Lines, and other functions, as well as suppliers, service providers, and external manufacturing partners.

  • Business Performance: Drive key performance measures including material cost management and annual savings targets, supplier performance and on-time delivery, customer on-time shipment/delivery performance, and team engagement and capability development.

What we are looking for:

  • Extensive Leadership Experience: 15+ years of experience in sourcing and procurement and more than 10 years in leadership roles, with a proven track record of delivering cost savings and performance improvements.

  • Strong Leadership & Business Acumen: Excellent leadership skills combined with sound business judgment and a relevant university degree.

  • Commercial & Analytical Excellence: Excellent negotiation, financial, and analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into business results.

  • Strategic Mindset: Ability to think strategically and effectively manage internal and external pressures in a dynamic global environment.

  • Relationship Building: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build, develop, and lead successful business relationships.

  • Drive & Ambition: Ambitious, self-driven, and target-oriented approach with a strong focus on achieving business objectives.

  • Change Leadership: Strong communication and change leadership capabilities, with experience driving organizational transformation
