Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Program Management
- Define and evolve the securities lending operating model, including agent and principal lending structures, to ensure competitiveness and scalability.
- Define and execute the global securities lending strategy, aligning revenue objectives with portfolio strategy, client mandates, and market opportunities.
- Oversee lending across asset classes (equities, fixed income, ETFs) and jurisdictions.
- Drive strategic initiatives including new market entry, client solutions, and product innovation.
Revenue & Performance Management
- Maximize lending revenue while balancing risk, liquidity, and client constraints.
- Provide strategic insights to CIOs and Portfolio Managers on lending opportunities and portfolio impact.
- Monitor market trends, borrower demand, collateral levels, and pricing dynamics.
- Deliver transparent and insightful reporting to senior management on performance and opportunities.
Risk Management & Governance
- Establish and maintain a strong risk framework covering counterparty exposure, collateral management, liquidity, and operational risk.

Stakeholder Engagement

- Engage with Legal, Compliance, and Risk teams on regulatory developments and policy changes.
- Act as a senior point of contact for clients, auditors, and regulators as required.
Operations & Infrastructure
- Oversee operational processes including trade lifecycle, collateral optimization, and settlements.
- Drive automation, efficiency, and scalability of securities lending infrastructure.
- Partner with technology teams to enhance reporting, analytics, and platform capabilities.
Team Leadership
- Build and lead a high-performing global securities lending team, supporting global strategy and execution.
