Position Summary:

The Vice President of Regional Sales works with Regional and Sales Leaders and to grow the business and increase

referrals for all AdaptHealth product lines in their assigned territory. This includes the development of a strategic sales

plan as well as the identification of new opportunities and referral sources. This position requires substantial knowledge

of the local referral base and the local competitive landscape. Responsible for oversight of development and

implementation of marketing plans and marketing strategies, including planning, coordinating, and directing all marketing

efforts. And for ensuring all materials and activities promote and maintain the presence of AdaptHealth’s brand in the

market.

Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities:

  •  Provide leadership to the sales team and develops sales strategies by studying economic indicators, tracking changes in supply and demand, identifying customers and their current and future needs, and monitoring competition.
  •  Build strategic relationships within your account base, across a matrix of roles and areas of expertise, including executive-level personnel.
  •  Maximize, drive, and achieve revenue and margin goals while staying within the allocated budget.
  •  Manage and deliver on issue resolution and customer satisfaction within your account base.
  •  Demonstrate a broad comprehension of the customer’s needs, market trends, industry challenges, major players, relevant products, and technologies.
  •  Results oriented, organized, efficient and resourceful collaborator at ease in a dynamic collaborative environment.
  •  Provide leadership and accountability by coaching, developing, and retaining a high performing sales team.
  •  Demonstrate consistency in achieving both admit and census goals by monitoring and assessing the progress and development of each Account Executive/Territory. Prompt attention and action to any gap in performance to budgeted expectations and barriers related to these gaps.
  •  Build a high performing Sales Team by recruiting and hiring top sales talent.
  •  Compile, communicate, and execute best practices in the field. Help develop innovative ideas, protocols, and efficiencies for maximizing marketing resources to grow market share.
  •  Develop a collaborative partnership with the Operation Leadership team. Create and support a shared vision for growth between Sales and Operations.
  •  Execute B2B and B2C sales and marketing programs.
  •  Influences present and future products by analyzing statistics regarding marketing development, acquiring, and analyzing data, and consulting with internal and external resources.
  •  Maintains research database by identifying and assembling marketing information.
  •  Maintains patient confidentiality and functions within the guidelines of HIPAA.
  •  Maintains compliance with AdaptHealth’s Compliance Program and applicable company policies, procedures, and patient protocols.
  •  Performs other related duties as assigned.

  •  Responsible for selection and hiring of qualified staff, ensuring an effective on-boarding, and providing comprehensive training and regular feedback.
  •  Accomplishes staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; developing, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, procedures, and productivity standards.
  •  Establishes annual goals and objectives for the department based on the organization’s strategic goals.
  •  Responsible for achieving organizational performance and retention goals, including timely completion of performance evaluations.

Requirements

Education and Experience Requirements:

  •  Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business administration, or a related field from an accredited university required, master’s degree preferred.
  •  Fifteen (10) years’ leadership experience in a related position, preferably in the healthcare is required.
  •  Five (5) years of relevant work experience required in sales, marketing, advertising and/or brand management.
  •  Valid and unrestricted driver’s license in the state of residence

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  •  Must be able to bend, stoop, stretch, stand, and sit for extended periods.
  •  Ability to perform repetitive motions of wrists, hands and/or fingers due to extensive computer use.
  •  The work environment may be stressful at times, as overall office activities and work levels fluctuate.
  •  Subject to prolonged periods of sitting and exposure to computer screens.
  •  Ability to lift to 5 to 10 pounds periodically as needed.
  •  May be exposed to angry or irate customers, patients, or referral sources.
  •  Ability to utilize a personal computer and other office equipment.
  •  Excellent ability to effectively communicate both verbally and written with customers with the ability to demonstrate empathy, compassion, courtesy, and respect for privacy.
  •  Mental ability to perform all work functions.
  •  Requires travel throughout the service area and use of personal vehicles.
  •  Must be open to extensive travel.

  

Compensation

·  $ 180,000-220,000  +  RVP commission

· Compensation is based on experience, location and role level

This license requires completion of state-approved training and a course completion certificate, as HMDR facilities are required to have an Exemptee physically present during all hours of operation in lieu of a pharmacist. Applicants must include proof of required training with their license application or disclose their intent to obtain.
