The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Vice President of Project Leadership with demonstrated Biopharmaceutical and CRO experience to drive operational excellence across a dynamic portfolio of studies. This strategic role combines hands-on project oversight, ensuring we deliver for our customers, maintain the highest quality standards, and execute with excellence. 

Within our high-performing culture you will ensure we deliver exceptional clinical service and serve as a strategic advisor in delivering service to clients.

Key Accountabilities

  • Lead project delivery and hold teams accountable to milestones and deliverables
  • Own profitability, margin expansion, and cash flow targets across your portfolio
  • Drive operational data compliance, analytics, and process improvements
  • Participate in risk and quality governance across the portfolio
  • Build cross-functional partnerships and foster direct, purposeful communication
  • Develop talent, manage performance, lead by example
  • Lead or support department and enterprise-wide strategic initiatives
  • Manage account-level oversight and P&L responsibility as applicable

Required Qualifications

Experience:

  • Minimum 15+ years of project leadership experience in BioPharma or CRO
  • Proven track record leading high-performing teams in a global, matrix environment
  • Experience managing complex clinical trial portfolios across multiple phases
  • Strong business and financial acumen

Skills & Competencies:

  • Exceptional communication and executive-level influence skills
  • Superior problem-solving, prioritization, and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to demonstrate value creation in a global matrix environment
  • Solution-oriented mindset with proven ability to deliver on client commitments

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience (science/medical field preferred)
  • Advanced degree desirable
