Join Hamilton Lane, a global leader in private markets, as we scale to meet the demands of our growing client base. Here, you’ll work with ambitious, high‑performing teams built on integrity, candor and collaboration, backed by our market-leading data and technology. We invest heavily in our people and our partners, giving you the platform to enrich lives, safeguard futures and grow your career.

What We Do
As one of the largest private markets investment firms globally, we provide innovative solutions to institutional and private wealth investors around the world, specializing in flexibility and full-spectrum access. We currently employ approximately 800 professionals operating in offices throughout North America, Europe, Asia Pacific and the Middle East, and have $1.0 trillion in assets under management and supervision, composed of $146.1 billion in discretionary assets and $871.5 billion in non-discretionary assets, as of December 31, 2025.

The Opportunity:

Private markets are opening to a new investor base. Structural changes including the proliferation of evergreen and interval fund structures, expansion of wealth platforms, and growing advisor appetite for alternatives, are reshaping how private markets capital is raised. Firms that can educate, enable, and build conviction with financial advisors at scale will win a disproportionate share of that capital.

The VP of Product Marketing is a newly created role responsible for how Hamilton Lane's private wealth products are positioned, explained, and sold — building the marketing infrastructure that helps the firm compete and win in the channel. That means developing the content, messaging, and sales enablement materials that move financial advisors from awareness to allocation.

You’ll be responsible for the full product marketing lifecycle: from shaping positioning frameworks and fund narratives, to building the materials sales use in the field, to coordinating go-to-market execution for new launches. You will translate complex investment concepts into content that is clear, credible, and built around how private markets fit into a broader wealth portfolio.

Your responsibilities will be to:

  • Define and own the positioning framework for Hamilton Lane's private wealth product suite, including evergreen funds, interval funds, and co-investment solutions, that clearly articulate the investment case, competitive differentiation, and portfolio fit for a wealth audience
  • Position and promote products from launch to growth, creating targeted messaging and materials that connect with key audiences, drive market share, and support client retention
  • Develop a working understanding of advisor behavior, platform dynamics, and how private markets fit within broader wealth portfolios
  • Translate complex investment strategies into clear value propositions that resonate with financial advisors, RIAs, and the HNW/UHNW clients they serve
  • Partner with the sales, product and investment teams to stay close to the investment view and reflect it accurately in all external materials
  • Develop channel-specific content for key intermediary segments including, wirehouses, RIAs, independent broker-dealers, family offices, with appropriate tone and format for each
  • Build and maintain a library of high-quality, regularly refreshed content: one-pagers, fund commentaries, white papers, and Q&A documents
  • Partner with the sales, investment and marketing teams to ensure product content is optimized for wealth platforms
  • Monitor the market and competitive landscape, industry trends and investor sentiment to inform product positioning and strategy.

Your background will include:

  • 8+ years of marketing experience, with meaningful time in private markets, alternative investments, asset management or financial services
  • Familiarity with private markets products or a track record of getting up to speed quickly on complex investment strategies
  • Demonstrated track record of positioning products, developing messaging frameworks, and building content that connects with wealth audiences
  • Strong writing skills and editorial judgment; you know the difference between good content and great content
  • Experience with wealth management intermediary channels: wirehouses, RIAs, independent BDs, or family offices
  • Comfort operating in a high‑growth, evolving business area, balancing execution with thoughtful prioritization
