Join us! Chase is seeking an experienced Product Manager to join the Zelle team on an exciting new 0 to 1 product build. You will join a team working at the cutting edge of new payment rails, payment networks and the most popular peer to peer platform in the U.S. on a product launch set to create waves in the payments industry.
As Vice President, Product Manager, Zelle you will work on a new product leveraging real time payment rails that will significantly impact how Chase customers move money. You will join a team of skilled product managers on a 0 to 1 product build, partnering across the Zelle and New Payment Rails product teams, multiple internal functions, and external network partners to drive execution over the course of a multi-year release roadmap. You should have a proven track record of impactful feature delivery, experience executing in a highly matrixed environment with significant cross-impact, be highly organized, a strong communicator, excellent relationship builder, flexible in a fast-paced environment, and a self-starter.
Job responsibilities

  • Define requirements for critical flows and infrastructure within the overall product; work with engineers, architects and designers to build the optimal technical and user experience strategies
  • Have a risk and controls-first mindset. Maintain close partnership with legal, risk, compliance and controls partners at all times to ensure a shared understanding of all approved requirements
  • Own the product roadmap for your flows, mapping cross-impact, winning commitments, structuring work in Jira and driving execution and delivery across multiple teams
  • Work regularly with your 'quad ' partners (engineering, analytics, design) to drive progress, solve problems and continuously iterate
  • Keep a clean kitchen; maintain impeccable Jira hygiene and agile controls to ensure utmost transparency and visibility to work being done
  • Maintain deep knowledge of area product vision, strategy, roadmap, technical implementation, and operations
  • Maintain a keen understanding of the competitive environment. Understand the latest industry news, competitor features and market developments
  • Identify risks, bottlenecks and delays proactively and begin mitigation planning immediately
  • Foster a business owner's mindset; you will be ultimately responsible for all elements of the flows you build and you will be expected to be on top of anything and everything involved therein
  • Plan and manage releases and roll out plans


Required qualifications, skills and capabilities

  • 7+ years of experience in financial services, digital, product management and / or Agile software development with at least 5 years in a product role with a track record of feature and/or entire product delivery
  • Strong knowledge of payment networks, rails and market dynamics
  • Self-starter with strong written/verbal communication, a clear vision of the efficient and effective way to get things done and an iterative mindset to try, fail and pivot as needed
  • Sense of ease in ambiguity and a passion for creating order out of chaos; you remain calm under pressure and tight delivery timelines
  • Proven success in collaborating, influencing and driving decisions with multiple stakeholders, including team members across product, technology and design
  • Proven track record of managing risk and controls
  • Highly collaborative and capable of managing large, complex, cross-functional projects


Preferred qualifications, skills and capabilities

  • Advanced degree, Master's in Business Administration
  • Strategy consulting experience in the Financial Services space
