About the Role:

As a Vice President of Product Finance you will be a trusted strategic partner to Remitly’s Chief Product & Technology Officer (CPTO) and senior leadership team—playing a key role in shaping, evaluating, and driving the company’s growth initiatives, including Remitly’s global innovation roadmap.
 

Reporting to the Global CFO, you’ll be instrumental in scaling Remitly’s finance capability as a true driver of business strategy, while leading and growing a team of product finance partners. You’ll sit at the intersection of finance, strategy, and innovation—helping allocate capital, measure returns, and ensure execution aligns with long-term value creation.

This high-impact global VP role focuses on strategic decision support across product, technology, and growth initiatives, providing the financial insight and discipline to guide meaningful investment and transformation.

You Will:

  • Partner directly with the CPTO and functional leaders across product, engineering, and finance to evaluate strategic initiatives and ensure smart capital allocation.

  • Lead finance transformation initiatives to drive continuous improvement, increase forecasting speed, and improve decision-making clarity across functions.

  • Grow and mentor a high-performing team of finance professionals, with a focus on strategy, rigor, and cross-functional partnership—supporting key decisions across product, technology, and innovation.

  • Build financial frameworks and investment cases for new product lines, technology innovation, and operational scale initiatives.

  • Act as a key business advisor—translating financial data into actionable insights that guide company-wide prioritization.

  • Track performance and ROI of high-impact projects, identifying risks and opportunities along the way.

  • Deliver compelling financial narratives to executive leadership and board members, aligning investment decisions with Remitly’s mission and strategic priorities.

  • Lead financial governance and performance measurement for strategic initiatives and long-range growth planning.

You’ll Have:

  • 15+ years of experience in strategic finance or corporate development—ideally in a high-growth tech or fintech environment.

  • A strong background in strategy development, business case evaluation, and cross-functional planning.

  • Direct experience partnering with product, technology, or innovation teams.

  • Exceptional modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Executive-level communication ability, with a track record of influencing C-suite stakeholders.

  • Comfort working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with a bias for clarity and action.

  • Prior management consulting experience is a strong plus.

  • A passion for using financial insight to fuel mission-driven innovation—and personal alignment with Remitly’s values.

Compensation Details.

The starting base salary range for this position is typically $232,600 - $290,000. In the U.S., Remitly employees are shareholders in our Company and equity is part of our total compensation plan.
